The 87th edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes Juan Serrentino a.k.a. Teleport-X from Argentina. Born in Buenos Aires, Teleport-X's initial clicks to pursue music began in the '90s - having attended "The Energy Parade" in Argentina at an early age of 12. A few years later, having taken massive inspiration from live performances by Richie Hawtin (Plastikman), Armin Van Buuren and more, Teleport-X ultimately began DJing in 2007 followed by music production over the years in 2018. Having presented releases on Mango Alley, Univack, Deepwibe Underground and many more, Teleport-X has also gained some heavy support from the likes of Airwave, Juan Pablo Torrez, Sebastian Busto just to name a few. We're stoked to have Teleport-X on our show presenting a special two hour mix. Enjoy!

A few days ago I was asked to do the opening set for non-other than Dosem. Indeed warm up sets are the key to set everyone in the right place and for making way to the headliner. For this (warm up’ish) live session I kept things just below peaking or getting too epic, but I still enhanced my groove by constantly mixing in additional hi-hats loops and other shaking vibrations.

We are Proud to welcome to Ruben Karapetyan Invites for this month -Nacres!

Nacres, his real name is Serkan Erkan. He was born in 1975 in Istanbul/Turkey. He tended to music even before he started primary school. His biggest pleasure was listening to music with his family's records archive. During his first years of elementary school, Pink Floyd was the first band he would listen to throughout his life and be fan. This love of music might have guided him on electronics, which he associates as a profession, and studied electronics. After his education, He worked for 3 years in Istanbul's most important sound companies "Nefan" and "Display Ses & Işık" on sound and lighting systems. He was taking resident dj offer by Taxim Night Park, one of the most famous and important nightclubs of the period, where he established the sound system in 1993. By accepting this offer, he worked in Cubuklu 29, the summer residence of Taxim Night Park and Taxim Night Park, for 4 years as a Resident DJ and special night manager. During these periods, he was a guest DJ at places such as Club 2019 (Twenty), Andromeda, which are among the important venues of Istanbul. He regularly made live shows on Radio Cool, the popular electronic music radio of the time.
By 1997, he went to Cyprus, which was the event that would end his music career. In Istanbul, in Turkey despite his young age due to the demonstrated capabilities are also among the biggest musical life that was finished. Until 2018, he did not professionally deal with music for a total of 21 years. With the death of his father in 2018, he decided to return to music. The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!
