Say That Again Slowly is a series of student led podcasts that explore topics and research presented at the Cambridge Festival.

The Festival delivers strong and distinct platforms for the sciences and the arts, humanities and social sciences. In 2022 it includes a uniquely Cambridge, eclectic mixture of over 350 events and activities: from panel discussions, film premieres, and self-guided walking tours, to ‘try this at home’ activities for the whole family. 

Topics cover the breadth of Cambridge research and will be presented across the Festival’s four themes: Society, Health, Environment and Discovery!

How can poetry explore and share academic research with the public?

The Words programme set out to look at and share research through poetry. Together with the poetry and public engagement professional, David Cain, the researchers explored the vast world of poetry, its different formats to bring out the poetry that lay behind their research for performance and for publication.

“دليل التحقيقات الصحفية من أجل حقوق الإنسان” الكتاب المسموع من راديو النجاح، هو دليل مسموع شامل وثري بالمعلومات، من إعداد مصعب الشوابكة، محمد اغباري، ودانة جبريل. تتميز القراءة بتوصيل متقن ومشوق من روعة عبابنة. يهدف الدليل إلى توفير مرجع متكامل للصحافة المتخصصة في التحقيقات حول انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان.

الفصل الثالث يركز على البحث والمصادر، حيث يناقش مصادر المعلومات المفتوحة والمغلقة، طرق جمع المعلومات والبيانات وأفضل الطرق لإجراء المقابلات، يتابع الدليل في الفصول التالية بشرح منهجيات التحقيق في مجموعة واسعة من مواضيع حقوق الإنسان، مثل انتهاكات الشرطة، القتل خارج القانون، انتهاكات حقوق الطفولة، الأقليات، اللاجئين، الهجرة والمرأة.

يواجه الصحفيون في هذا المجال مجموعة من التحديات القانونية والأخلاقية، والكتاب يقدم إرشادات حول كيفية التعامل مع هذه المشاكل. أخيرًا، يتناول الكتاب كيفية استخدام الحق في الحصول على المعلومات في التحقيقات المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان.
