We have already read that his music is dark and cold. It is also beautiful and subtle. Over the years, the French producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where hypnotic techno mixes with the icy atmospheres of coldwave. Some people characterize his work as cinematic electronics or “Cold Techno”, with a strong emphasis on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy. He is the author of several releases on different labels (KitoKat, Bella Ursa, DNC Limited or his own label: Freestate Records) and different media, this DJ and live artist makes his creation a real journey, as dynamic as introspective.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and
experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with
its well known Institut fuer Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and
dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in
clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world
of producing. Releasing on Labels like Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or
Charybdis he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound.

Dorian Gray is the reflective persona of the Italian producer and DJ Moreno Mariotti, an artist whose comprehension of techno music is a far cry from any conventions. 

Dorian’s musical craftsmanship is influenced by his interest in astronomy as well as esotericism. Trance rhythms, detailed ambient pads, and intervening acidic loops shape Dorian’s signature sound and provide a clear glance at this artist’s inspirational flow and intricate creative process. 
His work appeared on labels such as @thegodsplanet, @edit-select, @deepbass (Informa Records), @space-trax Berlin and many others. In 2020 he launched his new label DORIAN.

The Alchemical Theory project was born in 2018 from the creative union of three italian producers. The identity of the project has been very influenced by the favorite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric elements. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey.

MTRL (material) is a versatile art and music project by Lukas Weinlein. Driven by his interest in different ways of artistic expression, he started experimenting with sounds at a young age, tapping into many different styles of music. This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. The name for this specific art project was chosen because the definition of the word material, the matter from which a thing is or can be made, fits the purpose of the project very good. So the aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains. Together with Dycide and Polygonia he is one of the minds behind the label IO.

Our next artist is originally from Brazil, he begab his journey among the underground clubs and obscure after-parties –  eventually moved to London, building upon a relentless passion for vinyl and further taking a leap into the world of production. He has been featured on imprints such as @affin, @circularlimited and @kvlto-records and many others. His distinct sound has taken shape over the years, intoxicating listeners through hypnotizing rhythm and cerebral loops. We are honored to have @caueborba complete our roster this year.

We are welcoming 2023 with our new podcast series “Dynamic Spheres”, which will bring you all things spaced out and hypnotic. To launch the rocket, we invited Shelley to contribute one of her widely acclaimed sonic journeys.

Originally from Bielefeld, she came in touch with electronic music through the local club scene, spending long nights out, going on numerous acoustic trips. In 2019, she decided to use her listening experience as inspiration to teach herself how to DJ and create her own sets moved by hypnotic and impulsive rhythms sounds, combined with dark and dissociative atmospheres. It didn’t took long until her style got recognized and she made appearances on institutions like Diffuse Reality, Indefinite Pitch, Deepicnic, Fur:ther Sessions or Crescent London. Also Eric Cloutier invited her to play at Tresor in Berlin where she could prove her skills in front of a decent crowd.

Shelley gives us a lift into the void above, where atmospheric layered rollers pair with hi-hat driven groovers and flakey textures fuse with repetitive rhythms into infinity.

Happy and pleased to present our next guest on the channel :
Otherwise known as Hypnotic Black Magic, Apolline Guédon got well inspired when leaving her home (FR) to pursue her passion for Arts & Techno music. In a few years span, she's become a known, regular figure of Berlin' scene, as the creator & curator of the Art Bei Ton events serie, as well as for 'Ambient Sleepers'. 

Energetic, prolific, delivering driving and carefully crafted selections, Hypnotic Black Magic is also socially engaged to break down gender tiny boxes. Her music is deep, dark but with sensual accents. Her insatiable curiosity also shows as a traveller : HBM has played a large numbers of venues; in Berlin, Tokyo, Portugal, Seoul, Colombia.. and many other countries/cities around the world. "Movement forward" as a whole is expressed through her different ways and channels : musical choices, roles in the scene as well as a strong skill set, quite obviously :) for project management.

"Through her sets, her goal is to create musical journeys conceived as introspective explorations of human's deepest obscure thoughts, meditative states and sensual expressions."
