The next release on Unnamed & Unknown comes from up-and-coming UK artist Matt Arnold, making his label debut with ‘Move’. Accompanied by young Costa Rican talent Newball, the EP features an emphatic four-track combo that we can’t wait to share.

First comes the title track ‘More’ which bursts with upbeat energy and percussive flair. Sturdy drums and rippling percs bounce off its rhythmic sub-bass, boosted further by hooky vox and subtle melodic elements. 

‘Watcha Doing’ keeps things energetic with a shuddering groove and more emphatic drum work. An engaging roller, its terrace tech beat combines with another appealing sub-bass, bright synths and creative fills. 

Next up, ‘toasted’ takes a more nonchalant approach. More rolling drum work combines with layers upon layers of sharp percs and deep melodies, driven by roaring sub-bass, sizzling FX and catchy vox cuts.

Newball’s remix of ‘Toasted’ completes the release impressively. Driving drums and scattered percs give the track robust rippling energy, combined with pulsating bass and rich synths - bringing an interesting contrast of different characteristics to the track.
