As some amongst us push harder to draw lines, build walls, and separate us from one another, it remains one of the utmost import goals of musicians and curators to push back even harder in order to bring us back together. For this reason we are determined to keep a global perspective when it comes to our curation, with our previous mixes ranging from Glasgow to Brisbane. We now present an exemplification of the rich creative talent that emanates from the south with this hour of time-melting atmosphere compiled by Italian artist Kaelan aka Nico Campanella. With releases on renowned techno imprints such as Construct Re-form, CLFT, Subosc and Monnom Black, we are humbled and inspired to showcase the other side of his distinct sound.

As the lush life that surrounds us reaches it’s full maturity so does the creative fervor in our minds and in our souls. Initiating the summer edition of UNRUSH is a tremendously underrated artist based in the South of France. Kriss Kortz known as Life Recorder has been soaking deep into the collective caverns of our psyche since the mid 90’s with Detroit-tinged releases on imprints like Atmospheric Existence and Aesthetic Audio. Focusing here on the more downtempo side of his collection, he has gifted us with a truly world class excursion that is perfect for these hot summer days.

The new release of m_podcast is a two-hour record of Mick Wills performance from Gamma’s epilogue called Delta, Mick never ceases to amaze with his approach to selecting and presenting material to the audience and he is always a welcome guest on the "right" dance floors. 25 years of experience allows Mick to organically combine in his mixes all the variety of music genres of electronic music - from modern techno to classic italo disco. In addition, he is the author of bright releases at International Deejay Gigolo. Since Delta is a logical continuation of GAMMA festival, and Mick Wills was a guest of the festival in 2016, there is no doubt that this person can recreate the festival's atmosphere on the dance floor better than many others and he definitely did.

As a Polish-born kid who grew up on Rock music and spent his youth playing in various bands, who loves clubs and parties but who nevertheless has always been looking for more than what the plain reign of the four-four time has to offer, Głós (pronounced [ɡwɔs] as in 'Gwos') is a producer and live-artist who adores to make people dance with his unapologetic and hypnotic Techno. His handcrafted music stands for the pursuit and documentation of adelomorphous moments in diurnal nights, precious snippets that elsewise dissolve back into nothingness.

Hailing from Berlin, Głós' music is known for connecting 'yesterday' and 'tomorrow' without leaving 'today' aside. Slowly pulsating, his music takes off as if resounding from a distance. It seems as if you've already left the club behind while the vibrant rhythms still linger in your mind. It's the resurrection of a long gone sound whose echo is still alive on the streets, haunting you.

Pochodząca z Berlina twórczość Głós'a znana jest z łączenia "wczoraj" i "jutra" bez odkładania "dziś" na bok. Powoli pulsując, jego utwory rozdzierają się, jakby rozbrzmiewały z oddali.

German @IntimateSilence imprint releases a V/A including ambient cuts by Pär Grindvik, Głós, Kas:st, PVNV, Thomas Hessler and the label head Silent-One. Monument premieres the releases soothing closing track by @GlosOfficial. The Traces V/A is out on January 22nd.

U N R U S H is an experiment in sound, a crystalline vision of eternal pause. Through our record label, podcasts, and event series we focus on presenting a diverse array of alluring ambient music. With each guest contribution we search for a serene space within the mind that is free from the encumbering stresses of daily life. Our events will act as a platform for distinguished artists and take place in stunning cultural surroundings both in the city and in nature, taking a step away from the pounding hedonism of the club to showcase the other side of electronic music.
