Mython is a Berlin based Techno producer and DJ. His focus lies on the dark and heavy side of techno. Hypnotic patterns and hard hitting kick drums are at the core of his sound. His main goal is to capture the dirty and gritty underground vibes of Techno and push the sound towards the perfect symbiosis of melancholy and pure energy. In 2020 Mython founded ‘Out Rage Records’ to promote the sound he likes to play and hear. As Mython continues to evolve his sound to always stay ahead of the game, his tracks have been played all around the world by the biggest names in the industry.

Our platform has a strong connection with the vibrant Dutch scene. The sheer number of talented producers, DJs, and people interested in electronic music, in general, is astonishing. Making your talent stand out in that 'environment' is quite challenging, but when your skill is noticed, it must be for a reason. Our guest today, Bas Dobbelaer, has many reasons to be noticed. He's an incredibly talented producer and razor-sharp DJ with broad music knowledge but, first and foremost, a charismatic person and fun to be around. 

From our party with the dear SoHaSo crew back in 2018, when Bas and his comrade Viktor aka Vand, played a fabulous ambient set, until today, numerous outstanding releases, remixes, podcasts, and parties are under Bas' belt, and he's become one of the prominent figures in the Amsterdam's underground music scene. 

In light of Bas' and Vand's upcoming remix package on SoHaSo, which features works by Ultrastation, Donato Dozzy, Shoal, Gal Tsadok-Hai, and Marco Shuttle, we are happy to welcome Bas back here at Delayed. This time with a crème de la crème mix that is hypnotic in the word's true meaning. 
Deep and atmospheric with immaculate programming and seamless mixing, this mix has been on repeat in the past few days here at Delayed, and we are sure that the same destiny awaits you. A pure class from Bas!

From breaking through in the early 90s right when things were still done wild, helming the legendary Lost club nights from 1992 onward, onto becoming a pioneering figure of the UK's underground, it's safe to say Steve Bicknell ticks all the boxes of a self-made myth in the scene. Tirelessly pushing the boundaries of techno as we know it, the British don has been carving out his name in gold letters amongst the pantheon of DJs capable to evolve and transcend both themselves and their audience through the cathartic power of music. Always a step ahead, Bicknell treats us to two hours of resolutely immersive and achingly powerful soul-search, seamlessly criss-crossing our brains with his top-of-the-range anti-bullshit techno medicine. Repping an oft overlooked Swiss techno contingent comes the next guest in Bassiani’s podcast series. Basel born and raised Garçon is one of the most promising names to call the bucolic town on the shores of the Rhine his home. He got an early start, mixing from the age of 14 and booked a mere two years later, assiduously cobbling together influences in his early work and soon delivering performances city-wide. First those at Hinterhof (now closed) and then those at local staple Elysia. With musical collaborator Agonis he’s also fired up techno label Amenthia Recordings, an agar dish for like-minded Basel music makers. His own sonic experiments are a purely live affair, and that’s no bad thing. Garçon’s escapades, from Waking Life to Barcelona’s Parallel have honed his voice and made of him an adept hand when faced with the strenuous demands of modulating crowd energy. Nodding to a range of influences across the electronic map he harbours a superlative talent for finding niche sounds at the fringes of common scope. Enter Podcast 208: towering, no-bullshit sounds, an hour of ghostly, mechanical whispers and powerful basslines, earth-shaking and infinitesimally precise techno from this connoisseur selector.

We invited the Zurich based artist live ensemble @regula-rec and chose their wonderful journey which they played in September 2023 for the @iorecs night at Kauz, Zurich. Their sound aesthetics are absolutely unique and precisely designed. Full of spicy grooves, filigree atmospheres and beautiful synth lines. 🎹 🎛️
The set was not recorded from the first second, around fifty minutes are missing. But the remaining 2 hours are so fantastic that we definitely wanted to share this with you 🌹

!nertia is a composer and performer who pushes the boundaries of sonic arts. His work explores the motion of sound through an instinctive way of working; he makes field recordings and then he extracts movement out of natural sounds, afterwards, he combines these elements into live electronics to create an endless journey. A smooth and organic blend, fusing the electronic and natural world into one ambience. This approach results into emotional, atmospheric and hypnotic art works, which mutate into performances to experience his narrative sound in diverse multi sensorial ways. His live electronic performances have different shapes like podium performance, art exhibitions and sound installations. Among !nertia collaborators are graphic designers, fine artists, musicians, composers.

Borne - 4-19-20 live set for Mysteries Of The Deep 9128.live Takeover

This track is part one from an album of two experimental pieces derived from material recorded under my Rosen Corporation alias. It takes several tracks and reworks them into an ambient mixed collage, creating and evoking atmospheres and moods of sci fi urban environments. A lot of my work is inspired by Blade Runner, so this inspiration runs through the piece. It has a Vangelis sensibility, but more in an ethereal sense. There are no Vangelis samples, or samples from the film used, though some of the rain and storm samples were sourced from freesound.org. 
The two parts were recorded, mixed and arranged live in one take.

With each guest contribution we search for a serene space within the mind that is free from the encumbering stresses of daily life. Our events will act as a platform for distinguished artists and take place in stunning cultural surroundings both in the city and in nature, taking a step away from the pounding hedonism of the club to showcase the other side of electronic music.
