His music is a combination of natural, organic sounds and hypnotic atmospheres. This meditative, evocative eight track journey is typical of Facey’s beautifully rendered emotional output and is a perfect match for the stunningly atmospheric artwork, also by Facey, which accompanies the album.'

Henrii Havaas travels in the space between ambient, techno and euphoric soundscapes, drawing upon a seductive fusion of groovy rhythms, cheeky cuts, hypnotic elements and deep atmosphere. Influenced by meditative journeys, she experiences DJing as painting with sounds. The Oslo-born shifts gears between a versatility of tunes and is unbound by genres, making her mixes dynamic and storytelling-like. There is always a direction that forges a connection from lower to higher energy with her audience, giving space for transcendence on the dance floor or relaxation during deep listening sessions.

~ About The Story ~

A time for celebration.
Tomorrow the light will begin to fade
As the Wheel of the Year
Turns on and ever on.

The sun rises high in the late summer sky
And lights our way even into the night
Today the sun casts three rays
The light of fire upon the land, the sea, and the heavens

From the west, the mist rolls in
Bringing rain and fog
The life-giving water without which
We would cease to be.

Beneath my feet is the Earth,
Soil dark and fertile
The womb in which life begins
And will later die, then return anew.

This story was translated by an ancient scribe and is told in different ways ways depending on the culture. The chapters have been lost but the story remains intact.

Campfire Stories is a mix series by friends of Silent Season. The focus of the series is on storytelling through deeper electronic music. Artists weave together narratives using the emotional characteristics of ambient and techno music.

A reflection of the particularly dreary summer we had here in Berlin, this mix is inspired by a recent Unrush session at Herrensauna in Tresor Berlin. Tunneling deep into the unconscious mind, it functions as both a foreground and a background, teasing the attention of the listener with a deliberate pacing only Mareena could execute. Developing her style from age 17 in the squats and industrial spaces of Basel, @timnah-sommerfeldt’s warm, reverberating techno cuts span the genre and beyond. Through residencies at Hinterhof Bar and (nowadays) Elysia and her monthly radio show "Home" on Radio Ghost Town (which she co-hosts with @garcon), Sommerfeldt’s sets effortlessly transcend elements of electro, techno and house music, featuring strong emotional narratives and an intuitive understanding of dancefloor dynamics.

Her Patterns of Perception 51 is no exception, weaving sounds from across the musical spectrum into a poignant and compelling narrative that pulses with echoes of drum & bass, ambient and techno: a whole truly greater than the sum of its parts.
