Something I’ve been diligent about as I approach 40 is taking stock of where I give people way too much access to me. One of the main places I see it happening is on social media. I’ve also been reflecting on how distractions have impacted my life, especially through the lens of my neurodivergence.&nbsp; These two inquiries, coupled with conversations I’m having with people in my community and books I’ve been reading about ADHD, attention, and focus have led me to an experiment: I’m logging out of Instagram and Facebook for the summer, with big curiosity around whether this should eventually be a forever thing. Known for her raw, honest, and nuanced approach to spirituality and the healing arts, Elizabeth DiAlto is an Embodiment Specialist, a Mystic, a writer, and host of the Embodied Podcast (4M+ downloads!). In 2013 she founded what has now evolved into the School of Sacred Embodiment blending together her extensive training and practice in body movement and energy work. Her speciality is helping people integrate their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves to embody and express their true purpose and power. A native New Yorker of Puerto Rican and mixed-European descent, Elizabeth currently calls Miami home, is an avid salsa dancer, and has a laugh that has been described as “a sound bath of sunshine and joy.”
