In the frosty embrace of Berlin's winter, French Berlin DJ and Refuge Worldwide radio host, ophélie, unfurls their debut release on hundert records. We are happy to present “Electric Blue Gecko” as the single from the record. 



Following their inaugural release on the leftfield club music label "Early Reflex," they carefully craft mesmerizing, yet meditative bass music tracks. Ophélie presents her own version of the sonic vision that they explore in their monthly radio show "Therapy Dog". Influences of drum and bass meet the minimalist razor-sharp yet spacious sounds.

   

The artwork was created by Sena Oh who developed the visual style in close collaboration with ophélie. The digital fauna is presented visually through the unmistakable artistic style of the Korean Berlin artist. Whether you're tuned in with headphones or absorbed through pulsating subs of the club, get ready for an experience that transcends the dance floor.

An underground deep bass cut from NYC's No Sir, 'Layer 03', taken from their forthcoming EP, 'Radial Burn' on early reflex. 

Talking about the release No Sir says, "in working on this EP, I was drawn to the push and pull between double and half-time, finding pockets of air and atmosphere amidst layers of sinuous percussion and noise. By shifting the stress of the beat within each track, I aimed to explore how subtle changes in rhythmic emphasis can impact the human body."

Artificio’s cofounders, Passq (fka Arcane Prospect) and Rainmaker, take their sound in bold new directions with a four-track EP that mixes raw energy with sharp, forward-thinking production. Kicking off with «Midas Touch», Rainmaker blends his techno and ambient roots with fresh ideas, setting the tone for what’s to come—deep basslines and rich atmospheres that hint at his past while pushing into new territory.

Passq follows with «Sin Perse» and «Randy», where intricate sound design, distorted rhythms, and heavy bass are combined with a touch of dark humor. The EP closes with «Amour Fou», a “hyperbass” track, filled with both longing and optimism, echoing a desire for transformation.

A Fuego Y A Fondo is Artificio's statement of intent—a fierce commitment to pushing sound to its edges, challenging norms, and keeping dance music untamed.
