We venture back to the other side of the world with Aussie based AHJU, bringing the heat for the next hour. Mixmag premiered her incredibly infectious single 'Cause I' way back in December last year with some stellar remixes from Maruwa and 1-800 Girls, and after providing some class mixes for both Halycon Wax and Triple J, we had to make it happen.

Channeling the grit and power of east coast club music from his native Philadelphia to his current setup in Berlin, Squidbrain adds classic rave styles, a penchant for bass, and spontaneous A.D.D. energy to the mix, resulting in categorically off-kilter yet driving dance tracks.

Compelled by the aversion to the restlessness of months of pandemic lockdowns, Squidbrain’s NC4K debut drops a set of hard-hitting, breakbeat-centric tracks seeking to knock off the dust of the underwhelming past. Citing influences as wide ranging as Container, Kate Bush, DJ Rashad, and German language cream cheese commercials, these tracks, along with a remix by producer Paperkraft, do just that. For the second release in our Re-Issue Series we’ve teamed up with London duo Euphonic for a cherry picked deep dive into their back catalogue exploring some of their finest works, fusing Jungle, Breaks, and Down Tempo with unique programming, bass lines and traditional jazz/blues instrumentation.

“Low Orbit Archives” features a number of artists whom they have collaborated with since the project's inception back in 1997, including dr. Israel, Soothsayer, Kirsty Rock and Neech. Euphonic is led by producer Rob Henry and former Graffiti artist turned DJ, Nick Trimm.

The “Low Orbit Archives” compilation continues, following Part 1 of the projects recently released 10" vinyl "Jah Science", with an additional 8 tracks spread across the 12” and digital exclusives. The release aims to offer a wide but cohesive spectrum of genres and styles for audio lovers and record collectors. All tracks have been unearthed from CD, Vinyl and DAT, and newly remastered.

Melbourne via London's Videosystem debuts on Streams of Thought with a new EP ‘System Start’. 

With the release taken influence from progressive techno, house and trance, we have the exclusive stream of ‘Pretty Sure The Noise Is Coming From In There’, an almost 7-minute shapeshifting journey. 

The Streams of Thought label arm was launched last year with a release from the founder Sloan. Before then, it existed as a party only, throwing events in Glasgow, London and Berlin, booking the likes of A Made Up Sound, Dr. Rubenstein, J-Zbel, Peverelist, and Shanti Celeste to name a few.
