This is a collaborative record between Los Angeles based record label Good Society and Lyon, France based label Retro Jungle Records (@retrojungle). This once in a lifetime project brings together many of our generation's most notable beat scene creators such as The Kount, Rob Araujo, Kaelin Ellis, and Louis Futon, with a cross generational touch in featuring Matt Johnson the keyboardist of Jamiroquai.

This compilation album is a leading case in which artists who are all actively creating a massive impact on today’s Hip Hop/ Funk scene are being brought together to create a punchy, groovy, boom bap powerhouse. THE HEIST has seen its full release on all digital platforms as well as a special edition released on vinyl in extremely limited supply. Today, we've got something extra special for you - a beautiful new single from Wilf & H U A M Á N titled "On Tides". The two producers (and longtime friends) started the track as a simple improvisational exercise and built it into so much more. Taking inspiration from ambient legend Brian Eno and crossing it with the modern jazz influence of pianists like Aaron Parks, Wilf & H U A M Á N deliver a punchy, groove based track full of intricate synth layers and warm drum patterns. The dreamy vocals of fellow housemate and artist ‘HANAH’ give the track the glue and magnetism that make this single what it is - a true breath of fresh air. wilf & H U A M Á N - On Tides

Radio Juicy presents "Mars Blues", the first single from Northern California composer/pianist Telemakus incredible forthcoming LP “The New Heritage”. The track sees Telemakus taking a step into a new artistic beginning, representing a grand entrance to the lush world he's crafted. Featuring a strong 70s jazz funk incluence, the music is psychedelic and evocative, pulling the listener in with his striking sense of harmony and arrangement. Pentatonic clavinet riffs, intricate drum grooves, and transitions of dancing melodies from a tenor sax all combine with a funky bassline to propel the groove forward. 

‘The New Heritage’ , out October 13th, represents Telemakus’ lineage growing up in the jazz scene, gigging locally in the Bay Area. Being a self-taught pianist, the artist has a unique gift for harmony which evidently translates into the LP’s tracks as a continuous flow of inspiration. Having found his own sound listening to the likes of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, DJ Harrison, and Robert Glasper, Telemakus’ has developed a deeply personal style, as he likes to define it, “off-kilter and unique”. Having written and arranged all the album’s instrumental parts, Telemakus joins forces with a host of incredible musicians to paint a series of stunning soundscapes. This is a truly special body of work and we can't wait to unveil it over the coming months.

A door to the artist’s inner sanctum, PRNDL.wav is a collection of sounds that defines PRNDL’s current musical perspective. While his influences come from all directions, he finds himself in the middle of it all creating his own musical experience. Expressing his own unbridled creativity which ultimately is the essence behind PRNDL.wav.

Isatta Sheriff and Koralle join forces on ‘Eat The Kiwi Skin’ - six tracks that unite the talents of the East London MC and the Bologna-based beat smith. Their first collabo ‘Laid Back’ gained 2,5 Mio. streams to date. Even though the music is made in Italy, ‘Eat The Kiwi Skin’ is a London sumting. ‘Window Thoughts – Beat Edit’ is the second of six beat edits. Koralle flipped the original instrumentals in a unique way for the beat lovers. 

Isatta’s track record includes collabos with Flying Lotus, Oddisee, Arrested Development and Athletic Progression. This release is my soundtrack to those quiet moments - that period of time when the world becomes still and time moves a little slower. Meditative moments for self contemplation...
