Urban Waves is happy to present KaspaHauser to the label's roster and as the first entry in our new single series. This time around the theme is "Sound of Nature" the series will feature new and returning artists that will take the concept and work on tracks with Nature as the main source of inspiration!
With this new song titled “Rain Dance”, the Jazz head KaspaHauser creates a soothing atmosphere with the use of jazzed out chords on the Rhodes. The laid back tune is complimented by a catching synth lead, a funk infused bassline and well textured drums that are smartly mapped out. The song is inspired by the fleeting feeling of euphoria while dancing under the rain. The artist wanted to create a wholesome experience with an organic sound drawing form genres such as Jazz-Hop, Jazzy electronica and Lo-fi beats. The result is simply magical. Just kick back put your headphones on, close your eyes and let the music take you away!

KaspaHauser - Rain Dance

Stan Forebee is returning with a beautiful track titled “Low Tide” that is part of our new series “Sounds of Nature”. He wrote this one in between Melbourne lockdowns when he felt at a low point of inspiration and isolated from his inner essence and nature, hence the title “Low Tide”. As he tried to put those feelings into the melody of the song, the sound of waves resembles longing back to his favourite nature beach strip, escaping the city walls. The song inspired him to look back at the last couple years of weird world events as well as looking forward to a better future ahead. This song is deep and meditative and filled with sorrow and hope. Which hits the perfect spot for this new autumn season!
