A somewhat more ‘textured’ version of the piece recently uploaded to my YouTube channel- called ‘0-Coast riff(er)’ there- comprising several iterations of a sequence played by riffer in iOS on the Make Noise 0-Coast. I’ve only lately learned that this is even possible (the 0-Coast doesn’t do midi over usb, after all) by means of the SQ-1 used, not as a sequencer in its own right, but as a midi-to-cv converter. The added value here is a truly eerie arp from Ice Gear’s Kronecker synth, while the rather Euclidean drum pattern has been shipped over unchanged, because I’m rather proud of it.

Rory the Border Studios is located in the heart of rural Suffolk, UK, and produces hand-made guitars under the RtB brand, as well as a growing and diverse collection of (hopefully) original music. I had been uploading this to SC under the name Brownfield, but that was confusing an awful lot of people (three separate names?), so the artiste name is now simply the short form of the studio name, and also aligns with the YouTube channel name- to which I have recently started uploading again- ‘Wal RtB Studios’.
