From the science fiction 'Circus World' trilogy by Barry. B. Longyear, after crash-landing on an alien planet in the book 'City Of Baraboo', the following volume 'Elephant Song' takes up the narrative of how the survivors tame the planet and form a thriving colony, based upon their culture as circus performers. Sadly, many of the animals on board perish during the crash, notably a number of the complement of elephants... This track contains the first, more abrupt ending to the piece.
