Based in the Gold Coast, Mista G's (Graham Winder) DJ'ing career started in the early 90's mixing House, Garage and Progressive house, in bars and clubs mostly around Birmingham, UK.  Today, Mista G can be found playing fresh new House, Deep House, Soulful / Funky House, Tech House, Nu Disco & Ibiza style Club Classics back in the day.  

Mista G is resident to a number of bars in the Gold Coast, including Rubi Red R-Bar, and Hyde Paradisio at Surfers Paradise via a Leading DJ Agency, Together Agency. Mista G is also a regular DJ at Saturday Social where he's played alongside promoter Graham Dunn, Mark Dynamix and Dene James.

Influenced by the 90s classics, 80s pop, and 70s disco, Sammy's sets are a masterful blend of new-skool house and tech, filled with nostalgic nods to these iconic eras. 

As the driving force behind ‘A Very Important House Party’, a club night aimed at an older clientele which encouraged solo ravers, and her latest venture ‘The After Party’ at Bora Bora in Malta, Sammy is committed to uniting the house music community. Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

About Gareth:
Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010.
