Guilty Minds is an Alternative, Hard Rock band from Toronto Ontario, Canada. Formed in the summer of 2010 the members of Guilty Minds had grown tired and were slowly beginning to disagree with the direction music on the radio was taking. They took matters into their own hands and decided to step up and make a change.

​​Over time Guilty Minds slowly went through the beginning stages of forming a band with a unique sound and the ideal line-up. Jumping, climbing and crushing any obstacles that were thrown in their way; whether it was line-up changes, faulty gear or simply struggling to nail down a jam space. Everything was eventually overcome with sheer determination and for the love of their music. 

With an array of venues played under their belt and a continuously growing list of songs Guilty Minds was hit by the departure of Mikie Carnage, a founding member. It wasn’t long after, in 2013 that Guilty Minds found the next ideal and final member, Leanner. Previously the front woman of a local Toronto based punk band, The Reconsidered. With a new face came a refreshing new dynamic.

I am a professional musician of 50 plus years experience.  From 18 years of age until I became 55 my career was spent as a musician in the Royal Air Force, the only ever "Staff Arranger" to the RAF, completing 37 years service as a Bandmaster.  The experience and knowledge that I gleamed, performing in 67 countries throughout the world, during this period is quite extensive.
I was fortunate enough to have had 2 professors of music to educate and tutor me, Dr Ken Abbot and Dr Derek Healey; their styles and differences, from classical style of common practice music to really modern 20th century classical idiom was vast,; I was very fortunate to have been tutored by these gentlemen whose contrasting musical periods opened not only my mind, but also my ears.
I am a Big Band fanatic, my 18 piece bands "Touch of Class" and "Swing Wing" were well known throughout the RAF fraternity.  I have, quite naturaly been influenced by many , many composers, both classical and jazz wise , therefore, I have striven to write in what I call, term as Classical fusion,, a combination of jazz and classical style.  I was very much influenced by Laurie Johnsons' "Synthesis",  I  have however  attempted to go one step further, especially as I use the Sibelius Music format with its vast pallete of instruments to choose from,, to inter-weave, combine, and co-operate European, Far Eastern, World Instruments and Synthesizers into my compositions to obtain many different timbres at the same time.
I would  be delighted to hear your differing opinions on my music as I am still eager to learn and apply and adapt to new ideas.

My name is Stephen Ngah, I am 24 years old and as you may already know, I am a young Entrepreneur/Investor and a student. Growing up in a 3rd world country, I’ve always lived in poverty. Most people think or assume I come from a good background but I can assure you all, I am a lot like most. Being the last of eight children in a relatively lower middle-class family, I had a chance to grow up watching and learning from my siblings. I saw my mother and father work very hard to support us and that motivated me even more to relieve them of those responsibilities. As a child, my spiritual walk with Jesus was always there due to many reasons. Due to my mother’s strong relationship with God, I began learning at a young age to be strong in the spirit. It wasn’t till I got older in my 20’s that I saw why my mother was so firm in telling us to stay connected to God & Yeshua through prayer. You can say we love God and follow Christ but if our actions don’t exemplify God and Yeshua then are we truly following Christ? 
Fast forward, I always believed there was more to life than just settling. So, I began studying people who had what I wanted at the age of 12. I enjoyed reading books from Robert Kiyosaki, Warren Buffet, Richard Branson, Donald Trump, Bob Proctor, John C. Maxwell, and Napoleon Hill etc. Taking everything, I learned from each of them, made me who I am today. The goal and my personal why is to retire my parents and help empower people my age, older and younger to achieve! The vision for S&T Philosophies is to educate and inspire the world.
