Rocket Radio is a community web radio devoted to music culture and promotion of independent artists.

Founded in Verona, Italy, in 2014, along the years RR have become a crossroads for creative people keen to participate in a community project that supports and gives voice to emerging artists through a network of local and international partnerships.

Butch le Butch has forged his name as one of Melbourne’s finest purveyors of underground disco. His sets are packed full of long forgotten gems reworked for today’s dancefloors with his remixes of Madonna, Dolly Parton, Cerrone & Dua Lipa (to name a few) played across the world by the likes of Honey Dijon, The Blessed Madonna, Prosumer, Boris Dlugosch and DJ Sneak. He has supported Horse Meat Disco, Dimitri from Paris, Boy George, DJ Heather and Moby and played at events such as Midsumma, Summer Camp, Sydney Mardi Gras and Lavandaze. He is one of the residents at the underground disco night 'Bruno' and can also be found playing at Honcho Disko & Body Work.

💄 SHORT BIO 💄

Since his teens, Cobeia's been an avid listener collecting music on Vinyl, CDs, MDs, Tapes & Digital. Growing up in a multicultural family & environment in Geneva, he enjoyed the vibrant local squat scenes, and studied in London from 96 to 99 before regular stays in Berlin in the 00s. He has been passionately exploring underground scenes and culture as a whole throughout his life. Since 2001 he's been a dedicated DJ, cultural actor & promoter. 

Among other journeys, he traveled extensively throughout Eastern Europe, North & East Africa, and Southeast Asia, further expanding his music appreciation.
