This track was made during a difficult period for me, when covid drove me into a cage of depression. To cope with it, I, in spite of everything, took out all the light that is in me and, through I can't, tried to make music. And she saved me! This is the first track in a new, now, world. In my early years I spent a lot of time in the country - hours spent cycling with friends through deserted country lanes, helping and riding mother's horses and later earning my pocket money shifting bales of hay and straw in the summer. Plenty of time to contemplate the future. These are some of the thoughts that this melody evokes for me.

The American

I forgot the birthday of a significant musician, and I improvised this piece in appeasement. Maybe I should have stopped while I was ahead. (I also gave him a book on how to cook with vegetables. I know he will like that.)

Turns out I missed the musician. So, I gave the book to a Prince with a heart condition.
