ok maybe one can be a movie, i remember the power was out
i was straight on the couch, back and foruth trynna sleep away
when u work that 9-5, u cant feel peace at night
my eyes closed is the only rest i get, ac busted and sweat dripping
what do u expect from texas, i was hoping to read some texts
from a couple of exs, none of them stand out cause they arent the
one ive been expecting since day one, i can say all my exs
lost a big figure, but one of them is the fish that i lost
its the pencil i couldnt find for my sketchbook
its the lighter i couldnt find for my joint, now my hearts tight
just thinking of them, one day we was closer than ever
our love deeper than rivers, if u heard the sweet sounds
it wouldve gave u some shivers, the drum beats gettting colder and colder, our love changes its getting older and older
my heart sank when she said it was over, this is the part
where i flip the script, and make it her fault
but this time i can admit, i was the problem at hand
second chances i was already on a tight rope, i just happen to cut ties
when i wanted to stay, my first mistake was cheating to please my lust, and that was the day i decided to never do it again
her trust broke, and her heart stomp to pieces, this isnt her first
but this was really the biggest, over a year almost close to the next
we took a break, but i showed i was better, it took the time that she gave, for me to settle my place, this was my chance to make it all right
lil jokes that she said, it was clear she was having some flashbacks
and i can bet she was thinking her choices, was it really the best
taking me for the second chance, her freinds close ears ready to call it
throwing the towel before i even went on the base
these close friends looking for their next spot
thats why i never gave a fuck about them
honestly i left bad impersions, cause i felt forced to be there
when i really i didnt care, i had to pretend, but that doesnt fit me too well, all and all we had problems, name a couple that doesnt
different views and differents sides, were against the border line
honesty and inserucities played a role in our mental state
emotional damage, cause some days i just couldnt manage
some days i would think to myself, one day shell vanish
and itll be me again, but who will replace the empty space taht she left, and to this day i still couldnt replace the feeling
these new hoes and new bitches, and new clothes looking the same
all types of sex, but none of them hitting the same
and all types got a couple of problems, maybe to this day im still the problem, i thought that i moved on, but honestly i dont even know where iam
