   A song that rocked my late teens; I've always loved the lyrics, the "Kenloachian" video, Jimmy Somerville's voice and the melody, but much less the synthetic arrangements and 80s production. It's a world far removed from our own, so we've freely reinterpreted the song in our own way...

I often wonder what people are talking about when they write the usual "love" song: my love is higher than a mountain/deeper than a sea/Iit will last forever ( then they add a day. great line John Prine!!)
I really think these songs do a disservice to love and confuse the inexperienced as to what to expect.
Relationships are not easy. Love at first sight is usually more physical than not and so is fragile . 
Respect/devotion/selflessness to some extent are all needed among other difficult traits to make a relationship ( ie love) last through time

This song is again recorded with my phone. (Next probably a DAW song!) Motörhead has a cover of "Johnny B. Goode", so I Iistened to the original from the 50s! Chuck Berry Rock ‘n Roll. The intro is great, there are more songs with similar intros. They are so cool that I wanted to learn them at the end of last year and did. In this song, I just use my version of it as the intro. I play it a little lower so it's appropriate for my song. The last chord of the intro is the 1st chord of my song, except I play it as a power chord instead of a major chord. Some of my intro version is pretty much like the original, some is my version. It's really fun to play with these Rock ’n Roll intros, I could do it for hours. In one of the covers of the songs with these intros, the one with Beethoven in the title, there's an orchestral version of Beethoven's famous symphony at the beginning. I wanted that too, but of course only on my guitar, so I made up a guitar version of it and put it in front of the Rock ‘n Roll intro. Only after that my own song begins. It's even more freely than my 1st song here. I know the chords and riffs and lyrics, but decide always when playing when to change the riff. So the recording is a way for me to learn to produce one special version and not play it differently each time. You will hear that it is played and sung very freely. So consider it as a song performance for friends, not really a well-structured and finished song. Furthermore, I play nearly everything as slides, so it is harder to play then it sounds. I wanted to play it a bit faster, but it was not possible, this is the fastest drum accompaniment my amplifier has, it doesn't go any faster. One the other hand, for some parts of the lyrics it would be really difficult to sing it any faster.

Composition-- The Eclectic Collective

This song started with Josh coming up with a bassline and the arrangement. He started it as a project for the Eclectic Collective, so they were all immediately involved. Ken first laid down his rock solid groove of a drum beat to complete the rhythm section. Scotty was first after that, adding some melodic/rhythmic guitar magic to the mix. Stephen then blew the doors off of it when he added his melodic, dirty guitar to it. JJ was up next with his funky electric piano to fill it in. Chris then came in and added the trippy, swirling, psychedelic guitars. Mark also came along towards the end and added some really cool, but subtle percussion, and if you listen for it, a triangle in there, too.
  Of course every good song needs a good producer. Stephen was able to wrangle this into a good mix, thankfully. He also very cleverly came up with and added the psychedelic break in there between the first and second verses. Chris also added some really cool vocals to that part, too.
  This one was a lot of fun to make, and was our second song with Scotty, with whom we really enjoy making music. Josh named it such because he wanted the spirit of welcoming lots of musicians to come through. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we

Mare E Monti est le fruit de la collaboration entre deux musiciens insulaires (La Corse et l'Île de La Réunion).
Sur une idée originale de David de BOISVILLIERS et une mélodie de Jean-Marc ANTONI, ce deuxième opus, voyage de 7 minutes environ, est en fait est une succession de quatre atmosphères. Vous irez à la découverte de ces îles en passant de la mer aux sommets, en parcourant les sentiers et la forêt.

Vous commencerez cette découverte par le bord de mer, puis vous emprunterez un sentier qui vous emmènera loin du tumulte de la ville. Vous arriverez à l'orée d'une forêt avec ses couleurs, sa lumière et aussi sa fraîcheur. Vous serez alors récompensés par l'arrivée au sommet où vous serez au dessus des nuages, proches des cieux et gouterez enfin à la plénitude et à la sérénité.
