Track The Way to Yourself  a symbiosis of the sound of energy, of ethnic organics and at the same time the deep echo of the stone jungles of the cities of the future. A fusion of pure authentic and primal acoustic musical instruments, Neopolitan mandala, authentic vocals, masterfully woven into a futuristic electronic sound. Which takes its listener outside their body for a moment for a moment of bliss. Just don't forget to return to it!)  

The debut single is the first chapter of a big story. Stories about music that can create not just a different mood and state, but change the philosophy of life, heal and open the doors of the Soul that lead to answers to the questions: Who am I? Who am I really? Why am I alive? Why am I on this wondrous planet called "Earth"?

Special K (Mohammed Kamal) born and raised in Latakia, Syria, moving to Dubai in 2011. He has played a major rule in the underground scene in the region from initiating the very first musical gatherings of their kind in Syria in 2003 and bringing it all the way to Dubai in 2013 by Co-founding (Desert Dream Community). This community was inspired by the burning man and other festivals of its kind. He carried out this vision deep in the desert away from the hustle and bustle of the city and in between the dunes. With time he became the key player in the city focused on electronic music festivals, he created and collaborated with most successful festivals (Desert Dream - Elements - Kaynouna- Eunoia- Sandance..... etc.) around Middle East (UAE - Lebanon- Egypt - Jordan - Turkey - KSA - India)
Musically, Special K has always been a pioneer searching and spreading knowledge of the most innovative trends on electronic music, applying a meticulous musical choice on his sets, crossing styles of House and Techno music, traveling from Oriental / Downtempo, Organic house to Progressive/ Melodic rhythm cause he goes with the flow and has on occasion gone on to play for 24hrs straight, although always with surprising with a complex musical selection. Very rhythmic, full of groove and energy.
He mostly performed during events/festivals which he either created from the ground up or participated in to assist the organizers. He preferred to be behind the scene which helped him be more creative till the pandemic (Covid-19) showed up , so he is one of the 1st who started live streaming through Desert Dream channel along with most talented local & international Djs.
He streamed for many entities for human rights, Africa Children. As he did some live streams for HAB festival from the sky (Hot air balloon), Cafe De Anatolia from the desert and working on projects.

Dreamy atmospheres, futuristic zithers and insane drops: here comes Solstice Vibes V, Art Vibes' annual summer compilation.

We are extremely happy to have in our hands the annual compilation made by the Art Vibes collective to celebrate the heat and freshness of Summer. It is time to make way for pleasant emotions, reunions between friends and a shared desire to continue inhabiting our planet, making it a better and more enjoyable place. Between fruity sounds, ethereal sound atmospheres and avant-garde beats, Solstice Vibes is once again one of the most anticipated releases of the Summer.

'Diwali' by Amour Propre begins the story of Solstice Vibes V. Through the voices and percussion, it keeps us delicately within its oriental soundscape. Zithers and oriental flutes were perfectly arranged to make 'Diwali' a must-listen.

MI.LA, originally from Moscow, contributes to the compilation with 'Leto', a tropical, dreamy and truly immersive track. Thanks to the ambient atmospheres and its vocals, it is reminiscent of dancehall and reggaeton.

This release wouldn't be complete without a track from 9DEEP and Veytik! This time, they are joined by multi-instrumentalist Stephane Salerno. 'Celeste' oscillates between muted guitars and magical lines of synthesizers. It's a track that can seamlessly soundtrack summer party nights and sunset walks.

'Play a Part' from Armenian producer Teom drags us quickly until we find ourselves contemplating a surreal sunset in the desert. Without a doubt, the vocals along with the electronic sequences are the perfect engine to get us there comfortably.

Gobi Desert Collective and Copal join the label with their track 'Ambedo', a darker release that maintains the fresh personality of the Art Vibes collective. Through its wind instruments, it invites one to visit other cultures and heritages.

Scabeni's 'Swank and Hatter' seduces the listener with the metallic textures present throughout the piece. A futuristic mixture between jazz and eastern notations achieves a spacey feeling to play with from dawn to dusk.

'Pavamana' by Ben and Vincent, is a walk through the jungle with colorful sounds of rattles, cosmic flutes and currents of hot air. An enveloping voice guides the listener, suggesting gently where to venture next.

'Ethera' by Sasson is a piece that invites us to reflect on life without leaving the dance-floor. It features delightful moments of calmness yet showcases resolutely uplifting parts. With its magical sounds it keeps one's mind completely focused at all times.

Serbian producer Tebra, returns to the label with 'Suza', a sonic masterpiece majestically switching between keyboards and strings. The producer creates a surreal party ecosystem, with one foot on the ground and the other one up in the milky way.

Daniel Navrotsky from Ukraine joins Art Vibes with 'Glare'. He proposes an interesting mix between minimalistic house and organic electronic music, achieving a resolutely futuristic track.

With dancefloors in mind Pandhora and Tim Kari created 'Farewell', a track that stands out for its energy and refined sound synthesis. A long emotional break precedes an intense, progressive and grandiose drop. A melodic and detailed piece to get lost into.

Closing the compilation, French producers Souvnear and Minorah deliver 'Elisse' an euphoric melodic techno tune, revolving around bubblegum-sounding synthesizers and neon soundscapes.

Now it's your turn to listen to this wonderful sound experience and start traveling from wherever you are. Turn the volume (reasonably) up and enjoy!

"Sabo's record label Sol Selectas welcomes a new EP from rising organic house star Raidho, which also includes remixes by West & Hill, LUM, plus Ameme & NenaHalena.

This is Raidho's second solo EP on Sol Selectas in addition to his tracks on two different Summer Sol compilations. He has also released tracks on other labels such as Bar 25 Music and 3000 Grad Records.

Based in Poland, Raidho is well-known for his flowing tribal rhythms and enchanting melodies which he blends with mystical atmosphere to create captivating tracks that radiate heat like rays from the desert sun.

Ameme and NenaHalena are two of the most exciting new talents in the Afro house scene. Ameme recently featured an EP on Crosstown Rebels and collaborated with Jamie Jones for a track on Cercle Records. NenaHalena boasts music on Stil Vor Talent, Saved Records and Hyena's Rise Music.

West & Hill is a Dutch artist who's released his majestic style of melodic deep house on record labels ranging from Kindisch to BLOND:ISH's Abracadabra Music.

LUM is an Argentinian artist living in Mexico and he is respected for his deep and trippy tracks on influential imprints such as Damian Lazarus' Rebellion, along with previously featuring on Sol Selectas.

"Jaguar Dance" is the first of the original tracks and it opens with a suspense-building intro before breaking into the groove of an old Detroit classic that’s been pitched down and layered with Arabic horns and other ambient textures. It’s a modern take on a timeless classic that’s been transformed from techno into organic house.

Ameme and NenaHalena’s remix of Jaguar Dance is an Afro house rework with added percussion and their own synth stabs layered with a teasing section of the melody. The extended breakdown introduces the full melody in all its glory before reaching a spine-tingling crescendo just before the tribal groove kicks back in.

“Whispers” is second of the original tracks and it's a slow burner built around an organic percussion loop with hypnotic rhythms. Its trippy atmosphere features ethereal vocals, swelling synth pads and delicate melodies that combine to create a mystical vibe that flows with majestic energy.

West & Hill’s remix of Whispers adds additional breakdown sections while also giving a slight boost in tempo. It also brings more focus to the melody parts and adds some delicate guitar chords which add poignant emotion to compliment the soothing atmosphere they have created.

"Slow Life" closes the release with its downtempo groove and psychedelic vibe which make use of spine-tingling pads and haunting synths that are truly mesmerising. Its melodic bass chords add to the ceremonial vibe of this epic track.

LUM provides two alternative remixes, the first of which is his up-tempo "Trespuntocero - Los Tigres Del Futuro Mix" which strips back the percussion to create a deep and techy version with added atmosphere. LUM's "After Party Mix" takes a different approach and focuses on the original percussion with the addition of an acid-tinged bassline and the removal of the kick drum.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us on a journey through the heart of the jungle, in its chaotic, yet so organised state of being."

PREMIERE: Raidho - Slow Life (Original Mix) [Sol Selectas]

We had the pleasure to welcome one of our favorite DJ/Producers @Danny Shamoun at our stage. Danny Shamoun is an instrumentalist and music producer based out of Los Angeles. He grew up in the Detroit music scene where he began his music studies playing drums and percussion in the clubs. 

In 2004, Danny relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time music career. He had a long stint with System of a Down as a technician from 2006-2014 and as a keyboardist for Scars on Broadway from 2007-2012. These proved to be impactful experiences full of lessons for a young artist surrounded by legends everyday. 

Danny has recorded on film scores for the likes of Werner Herzog , Klaus Badelt, and Johnathan Hartman and recorded albums with Secret Chiefs, Billy Ray Cyrus, Matan Caspi, Stan Kolev, Spencer Brown, Scars On Broadway and John Dolmayan to name a few. Recording his own meditation music originals has also reached millions of listeners. 

At the moment, recording  and performing his own electronic music is the main focus. “Meso Haus”, music made by a Mesopotamian using ancient music scales in original house music compositions, is a genre Danny has come up with to put a name to the style of the music he is producing. Being Assyrian and having ancestors from the Fertile Crescent, the sounds that call out to him are deep rooted in him.

Danny is currently residing in Los Angeles, California where he’s developing his DJ sets mixing ney, santoor and various percussion instruments along with facilitating sound meditation ceremonies.
