What’s left of you when your heart has been ripped apart? When your psyche was cleft by the scream of your soul?

Now, she has claws for fists and fangs for teeth.
Now, wrath flows into her veins, boiling through her bloodstream.
So she will venture into the lair of the Beast. She will stand its gaze and hold her ground.
And she will bring war on its soil…

What lurks out there, preying on us from beneath the shadow of the night?
Out there… There be monsters…

This podcast was inspired by the myth of Orpheus and by Olivier Ledroit’s graphic novel « Sha ».
And is dedicated to every woman who has been hurt, preyed on or spoiled by the folly of mankind.

After two failed attempts, at my third gig at Beate Uwe I finally managed to record my set 😅 🙌🏼 

With incense sticks, thyme tea and no shoes: Embrace the little imperfections of a club gig recording & (re)join my little barefoot trip from a slow, very organic start over some dreamy housey vibes to deeper ethno sounds and darker bassy tracks up until my super cheesy end (I was sooo happy to play this track haha). 

Thank you to everyone who came and danced with me. Big thanks to the lovely crew from Beate Uwe for having me and being so kind to me. And special thanks to everyone who takes the time and courage to approach me after my gigs - your feedback, love and encouragement mean the world to me and fill my heart with love and joy 🫶

GEFÜHL statt Show. WIR statt Ego-Djing. MUCKE statt Getue.  Okay, die letzten 3 Sätze wurden zugegeben aus der SoundCloud-Bio von Amy.G.Dala stibitzt und doch passen sie so gut zu diesem Schleichcast, dass wir sie euch hier nicht vorenthalten wollen. Dieser Mix ist ein wilder Ritt, bei dem du nach einer Stunde viel erlebt haben wirst. Rollende Bässe, die langsam nach vorne schiebend das Stimmungsbarometer von düster bis wolkenlos-heiter aufleben lassen, welches dich wiederum von deep-treibenden Sphären in den charmanten Groove vergangener Jahrzehnte katapultiert. Auch wenn du Schleichcast°39 alleine hörst, so könnte sich in jenen Momenten vor deinem inneren Auge das besagte Wir-Gefühl auftun. Zur Afterhour mit den besten Freund*innen nostalgisch in den Armen liegend und die guten alten Zeiten heraufbeschwörend. Irgendwie so fühlt sich dieses Set zur peak time an.
