Kaunas at night. Wet streets, old statues, the soul of a city pressing against the glow of headphones. Diary 2 is a verse against forgetting — a preservation, a protest, a prayer.

This isn’t nostalgia. It’s defiance. It’s the sound of a culture that refuses to dissolve into imported noise and borrowed shame. Every bar is a fight between soil and signal, between building something real and downloading someone else’s saved game.

I rap not as a nationalist, but as an archivist — documenting the struggle to hold onto authenticity when everything around you wants to trade it for a counterfeit. This is Lithuania, but it’s also everywhere. It’s about self-identity, survival, and the refusal to be hollow.

The soil is memory. The signal is distraction. And this track is me choosing the soil every time.

Running on water

I’ve tried out many different ways to make music, and this was another new method. The vocals mainly feature visual EQ, a channel strip, and delay. I like how I was able to shape the velocity of the beat, and the Hype Almighty plug synth gave a nice sheen to the mix. A freestyle and live mix, one that seemed to live in my head and worked its way out into the world. That doesn’t always happen easily.
