Off-world grind with a custom grid,
Foot on necks, they can’t get rid,
Of the one they chase, but never outdid.

Wired up different, I pivot in code,
When I go full mode, I reload, explode,
Mind like a weapon I forged on the road,
Got a tongue like a torch when I’m speakin’ in code.

Every verse a detonation, mental detour,
Got a grip on the script like a jet at war,
They be tryna decode, I’m ten steps more,
Blueprints drawn from a dream offshore.

This started with a very beautiful piano piece by Tom, then advanced by Jussi’s great electric guitar lead. I added an imagined lyric about someone not being able to commit to a relationship and the song was completed by Boon’s excellent acoustic guitar work. Thanks to all for their wonderful contributions. Thanks everyone for giving this a listen. Much appreciated by us all.

Two Steps From Hell never did a song, that couldn't be described as genius. This one literally calls to be played on piano and what a fun it is! The piano part is inspired by amazing cover version by Mark Fowler and I conjured some backtrack to add a contrast to some parts.
