Singer songwriter, erotic artist and multi instrumentalist, Buella Blue's musical apprenticeship took root at the tender age of 10 and has continued to grow to the present day.  Her brooding songs touch at well worn heart strings whilst her haunting and strangely vintage melodies take the listener deep within themselves to a place where no one is innocent.  A born performer, Buella Blue live is both captivating and compelling.  Each song is a deeply personal insight into the brittleness of the emotional plane we all share.  Sometimes tender, sometimes fragile, sometimes loud and always unforgettable. This is uneasy listening music. 

Buella's career and travels have seen her perform both as an accompanist and as a soloist across many musical genres and continents and has seen her featured as a first call pianist as well as the piano accordion. Buella's now discontinued first releases were both well received and their limited runs exhausted. Because of their unique  D.I.Y packaging  which features her Artwork these releases have become somewhat collectable. Songs from her sophomore recording can be heard in the feature length documentary "Amanda" by Linette Etheridge which made official selection in the 2013 Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival – Queer Screen, and her services have been sought for various stage and theatre projects.

Some Things Borrowed Something Blue, the working title for her upcoming release sees tracks spanning over a decade , " Two of these songs were written when I was 16 , it was interesting to revisit them . It wasn't like I had a lack of new material for this , more that I had some real skeletons in my musical closet." She continues,  "Music was my escape , these older songs were my place to be safe my place to dream and just be a while."
