I'm an italian music lover living in Spain.
My music is a journey, every new song I create I discover something new about myself. I'd make music even if noone would listen to it. That's why it's a solo project...
I write, record, produce and perform all of my tracks except for drums.
I use no autotune or voice modifiers. 
I use no synths or sampled sounds (except in very rare occasions)

I am a pro musician and multi-instrumentalist and singer. 
My main instrument is the tenor sax though. 
I was a member of a famous Dutch band, the Dizzy Man's Band. 
I played in big theatre shows and musicals and later on had a solo career as Nick McAlley.
 I still feel the urge to write and record my own music.

On October 30th DEMETRICA releases her first Italian alternative rock album. It took almost two years of work to complete the album. An album that was born from the desire to record songs which speak of fears, dreams, hopes and many other sensations and feelings. The melancholic themes and melodies, which are contrasted with a more energetic sound, tending to English alternative rock, represent an artistic signature.

Il 30 ottobre DEMETRICA pubblica il suo primo album alternative rock italiano. Ci sono voluti quasi due anni di lavoro per completare il disco. Un album che nasce dalla voglia di registrare canzoni che parlano di paure, sogni, speranze e di molte altre sensazioni e sentimenti. Le tematiche e le melodie malinconiche, che si contrappongono a un sound più energico, tendente al rock alternativo inglese, rappresentano una firma artistica.

Started my musical journey in a metal band as a vocalist, at the same time started to play the piano and develop my skills as a composer.
My influences range from jazz, classical to rock, metal, electronic, world etc.
