Representing the cutting edge of Italy's Club Scene, Z.I.P.P.O distinguishes himself with a unique musical narrative. Giuseppe, as he is known off-stage, unveiled his passion for music early on.
His youthful and prolific discography became the foundation upon which he built through several collaborations, a diverse musical journey that spanned continents and genres. 

From Berghain's pulsating heart to the iconic Tresor – where he now holds a prized residency – and the legendary halls of Fabric and Circoloco, Z.I.P.P.O's sonic influence can be found echoing in the most revered corners of Europe's dance culture.
As a testament to his prolific artistry, he has collaborated with prestigious labels such as SK11, Voitax, Enemy, Fides Records, and his presence has been felt at DVS1's curated parties throughout Europe.

Nearing its tenth anniversary, Fides Records stands as a testament of Z.I.P.P.O's sonic vision.
Under its emblem, the birth of 3KZ, a side project born by Z.I.P.P.O and Kaelan, was soon recognized by Resident Advisor as “Sci-Fi Tinged Techno”. Meanwhile, his releases have graced compilations curated by the likes of Ryan Elliot and Amelie Lens for Fabric, his distinctive sound captures the imagination as it oscillates between ethereal introspection and captivating energy 

On the dance floor Z.I.P.P.O’s performances are defined by his eclectic selection, deeply rooted in his vast record collection and representing a profound love for the club culture. Whether it's one of his signature marathon closing sets at Tresor, or sunlit festivals like Polifonic and Boiler Room, his contribution consistently highlights the Italian artist's dedication, establishing Z.I.P.P.O as a luminous figure in the ever-evolving realm of electronic music.

Modular Expansion was founded by George Apergis and has run successfully, since 1998. The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens

In 2012 come the label of Modular Expansion Records, with releases and the support of global fame artists which has been the baseline to follow up events abroad and especially in Berlin, with gigs in clubs like Suicide, Berghain, Tresor, Sisyphos and many more.
