An esteemed friend introduced me to some Viking music on a road trip and it inspired me to make something in that vein. 

While not strictly nordic, this track uses a collection of instruments that I was able to identify while listening. I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I did making it!

This track won't take to algorithmic mastering very well (it sounds worse) so it isn't as loud or clear as some of my other tracks. Sadface.

I don't normally chill out and write stuff this slooooow but a lot of the virtual libraries I gobbled up during Black Friday are so excellent in this domain.

I listened to a lot of the Skyrim soundtrack so I could get that vibe in my bones and then did my best to make something of that accord.

Druids From The North

sheets of snow perch upon rooftops, occupy throughways and thoroughfares, and gather lazily wherever so they find it fit; unbothered by the obligations of humankind, the ire this sense of duty stirs in their hearts, and the urgent grievances it causes them to declare, full of contempt and intent to be elsewhere: milling about, passing the time with things, they profess and plead, need to be done.

as the tiny sparkles of white mosey down to join their friends, wouldn't it be grand, they might think, had they a care or understanding for the ceaseless machinations of people, if they'd take a pause to rest and share in a moment, however transient, of peace in their hearts?

i, thankfully, have nowhere to be.

The Masquerade

Mission of Mana is a track from Kenji Ito in the game Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu) from the Gameboy later released as Sword of Mana for the Gameboy Advance. My version is a fan made remix. 

I used the original composition and re-orchestrated it from the ground up with strings and Celtic instruments. Celtic instruments are from the Celtic Era virtual instrument library. A very sad song and a fan favorite. I would have loved to see this track done by Kenji Ito on Final Fantasy IV - Celtic Moon
