I’ve decided to skip around The Beach Boys catalog, holding off my last cover from the Today! album. It’s Over Now instantly became a favorite of mine in 1993 when I first heard it on the 30 Years box set.

Two firsts for me in this recording:

1. The Bridge:  I created a new arrangement because I always felt Marilyn’s contribution was out of place.

2. The tag: my son and I added our own touch to the melody at the end. It’s the first time he agreed to work on these songs with me and it made me smile. He definitely has the best sounding vocal of all my recordings.
