Cotton Fields (The Cotton Song) aka In Them Old Cotton Fields Back Home is a song written by American blues musician Huddie Ledbetter (in pic), better known as Lead Belly, who made the first recording of the song in 1940. His song is based on Cotton Fields, also known as Cotton-Eyed Joe,  a traditional American folk song that dates back many decades. The song is believed to have originated in the southern United States, particularly in the Mississippi Delta region, where cotton farming was prevalent.
There are published several versions with different lyrics. 
In my version, which is with the original lyrics of Lead Belly, I sing and play the guitars (6 and 12 strings) and banjos (tenor and plectrum). 
I produced this at my home with Band in a Box and Reaper.

Here's my latest blues song "Mister Slide". This was inspired by the lovely slide playing of the Dobro and National master guitarist Rob Ickes from Nashville. Tennessee. He has won twenty three International Bluegrass Music Awards, including winning Resophonic Guitar Player of the Year fifteen times. While he predominantly plays in Bluegrass style his blues and Jazz playing is also first class as you will hear on this song.

I am way outside my comfort zone on this one.

It was raining here yesterday and I couldn't do any yard work so I just sat down and recorded this little quick and dirty song. 

I am playing my jazz guitar and via by breath and keyboard controllers the Swam tenor sax.  Band-in-a-Box is supplying the rest of the  tracks using my sound sources.

Yesterday my arthritic fretting hand felt really good so I sat down and jammed to this Band-in-a-Box style. I am playing my Xaviere 335 HB.  The drum track is audio from said style.  The other tracks are the style's MIDI using my sound sources.  Let me know what you think of this 4 hour quick and dirty little jam.
