＊By the way, it's Ray, not me, who makes the chord backing that takes the rhythm with the wah pedal, the thick chord stroke with the flanger, and the pick scratch that rubs the wound strings with the pick.  Please listen to Ray's work and check it out.  From the beginning, Ray brought a sound that wasn't normally "suitable" for this piece.  The charm of this free and open work is exactly what Ray created.

Over the last few months, we have been exposed to a lot of media coverage. A man who lived and worked with his family in Poland returned to his hometown of Lviv with his family. "I can't stand to see the destroyed city anymore. I want to regain the beautiful Ukraine," he said. "It's a beautiful country, Ukraine," said one woman proudly. She said, "It has been destroyed and polluted, but we will definitely regain beautiful Ukraine."

When the Ukrainian people talk about "Ukraine, a beautiful country", there is a vast sky and land. As I watch the news of the tragedy, I find that we are more encouraged by the strength of the people who are ready to rebuild the country.

Initially, I was planning to work on another work by Ray, but when I listened to this song again, I noticed that "the sky" appeared in the refrain part. I know the lyrics of this piece deal with a different theme, but as I hummed the refrain, I felt that it could be a "fighting song" for me to move forward with the Ukrainian people. .. The target of support is the Ukrainian people, and I myself. I secretly thought that I wanted to make it one of the "cheer songs" for everyone, who are struck by this unreasonable invasion. And I decided to put my guitar on this song.

In addition, "Lillithe / Paploviante", including the sound source that Ray seems to have used in this work, should be called our great pioneer in that field as well. They have produced a huge collection of works using Vocals' Audio-Samples as the theme. At that time, I would like to note that they are experts who have mastered the source and lyrics of Samples by clearly stating them each time. The creators who inherit the method will be able to learn from the various usages of Samples to the usage rules by keeping in mind the reference of the works they have accumulated. It will be a great ally for each successor as they open up the future beyond SoundCloud.

Their enormous collection of works teaches us a lot. I would like to express my deep gratitude to them again for that.

Hey…. I sleep like an old dog now that I am old. Although I wonder if I move my feet when I run in my dreams. And I did bark at the neighbor’s dog the other night. She was being noisy, so I joined in. Ha. Starlings are up in the old cottonwood now serenading the world, as the heat of the day is not yet upon us. But by midday they are usually gone. The heat is too intense. I think they head to the river to ride out the day. Maybe I should join them, like in the old days. Hanging down by the river, swimming and cooling off. I told a neighbor the other day, if he finds his political bumper sticker is inappropriately graffitied, it will be me who did it. Ha. And here I thought we were all in this together… how naive of me. Hee-hee. So back to the dreamlife of dogs… as with night and day, a lot of life can become an either or premise don’t ya think? I was always one to explore a middle ground by melding various ideologies together. Then I decided to become free of that paradigm view of life, and maybe see things as they were. Fascinatingly sad how polarized our species is, on practically everything that matters, and how unwilling we are to budge. So I wondered about that insofar as extricating myself from such nonsense, without that becoming just another polarized pursuit. As if you can’t tell by now, I am a dreamer. That does have its downside as there is a darker essence to all this babbling, as the song lyrics suggest, when the light becomes the dark. OK… the starlings just left for the river en mass. Ha ha. I have pondered about the relevance of dreams in my life for many years. But I wonder how relevant the rhyming of ‘stream’ with ‘dream’ was in ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat… as possibly a revelation into the nature of life? Or in some songs, rhyming is just a convenience of circumstance. Ha…. Are we really rowing ourselves gently along through our lives, in a daydreamy way of how we’d like to see the world? Or frantically chasing a dream on a flooded river, as we lose control of our leaky boat? Or maybe a little bit of both? Or maybe jumping ship to swim to shore? Maybe there is no boat at all? Track shows a very delicate theme and a quite hard-riffed part, both alternating and finally flowing up to an endless symphonic dream (words are half a poem I wrote previously (not these, but lyrics below)).

This is a song that I am refocusing on, due to events in the world today. 

This is an original blues rock song that deals with the desire to escape with your lover to a better place. I wrote the song and did the vocal, rhythm, and lead guitar. David Hynes supplied bass and an additional rhythm guitar.
