Phainopepla’s music can most easily be described by the bird of the same name. Although the phainopepla is known to travel throughout the summer from the Sonoran Desert of the Southwest to California, its specific migrations are relatively unknown and inconsistent. Like the phainopepla, Jake Morris began his life in Tucson, AZ, playing small local rock clubs and jazz gigs, eventually migrating to California in adulthood. Now based in Oakland, the multi-instrumentalist/producer experiments with the marriage of electronic beats and pop sensibilities, resulting in a blend of sounds that transcends specific genre. He creates music that represents the ebbs and flows of emotion that we experience throughout our lives: from hard-hitting indie rock to solitary acoustic strums; from house and techno inspired four-on-the-floor beats to soft falsetto sung over traditional jazz chords and structures. While he may find himself lost within the world that he built in Phainopepla, he is unrestricted by any musical expectation.

Ella East is none other than Rotterdam-based Sietske Oosterhuis, well-known by her participation in the Voice of Holland 2014 where she managed to captivate the jury with her own version of the song "Rather Be" and end up in the quarter -final. 
Since 2015, Sietske has been writing her own music which she performs under the name Ella East. The name originates from her middle name Elisabeth and surname Oosterhuis. Beside playing solo on the piano since 2016, Ella East has also been performing with her band consisting of drums, keys, backings, guitar and (synth)bass guitar. With the band she has performed at Altersonic, BIRD and multiple festivals in the Netherlands to name a few. 
Ella East gets her inspiration from artists like London Grammar, Jessie Ware, Adele and Celine Cairo. 
With her powerful yet pure, soft voice, she is able to touch the audience. 
The music varies from light and pure to the full band sound with electronic influences. 
On the 7th of October she will release her debut EP "Where to Go".

Minko is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Cornwall. In her garret by the sea, surrounded by a plethora of acoustic instruments, she vanishes for periods of time and writes and records. Her haunting melodies and weaving bass lines wind themselves around peeling glockenspiels, ukuleles, flutes, and subtle rumba rhythms. All tied together with Minko's distinctive voice.  All with a low-fi recording sensibility that harks back to bands such as The Young Marble Giants. 

Before this she had a period of producing electronic tunes, including some remixes for Rephlex artist Global Goon. But she decided to leave behind the samplers and synthesisers, move to Cornwall, and immerse herself in an acoustic sound; rewinding to core childhood influences – French pop, post punk, 1960s psych folk.

Minko also still works periodically with Rephlex/Planet Mu artist Global Goon, recently providing vocals for his avant grade brain dance albums Quonk and Plastic Orchestra.

Alex Pearson is the solo project of the front man of the Edinburgh metal band ‘NIAM’. Alex is a born front man, having taken to the guitar from a young age, Alex went to school in Yorkshire, and moved to Edinburgh in 2004 to attend University at Edinburgh where he formed ‘NIAM’. The band received critical acclaim in the Edinburgh area preforming at prestigious venue’s such a “Bongo Rooms”, ’Bannermans’ “Whistle Binkies” and “Sneaky Pete’s”, In this time the band were the main act on a number of bills, and even had Marcus Mumford of “Mumford and Sons’ and ‘Nick Warpole’ from ‘Charlie Simpson’ open for them. When graduation came around, The Band disbanded, and Alex went soft in his old age.
In his first solo project Alex has moved away from his metal roots, creating a breed of acoustic rock labeled as ‘Acoustic Folk Metal’. ‘Alex Pearson is to Metal as Frank Turner is to Punk Rock’ providing moments of acoustic bliss crossed with overpowering distortion and a healthy dose of cynicism. Alex Pearson’s lyrics have a depth of emotion that equal’s or even surpass those of Finnish “Love Metallers” H.I.M, (a long standing influence) .Despite the heavy metal influences and attitude Alex Pearson has created a catalogue of tracks that can be listened to on a beautiful summer’s day or equally whilst as hung over as a dog. Alex has been working for three months on his first solo album, producing tracks such as ‘Most of us will die in bed’, ‘Mr and Mrs Normal’ and ‘Blue Bird’ among others. Alex’s radio debut came this year when he preformed his signature track ‘No more Penny Lane’ on East Coast FM which was received by a significant worldwide audience with praise from Canada and Australia as well as all over the UK

Tim Hüllstrung is a promising young singer/songwriter and guitarist
based in Basel, Switzerland. His songs show musical diversity and maturity. In an authentic way, they reflect his roots in pop and rock music, as much as his passion for jazz.
With a voice, that is soft and yet raw at the same time, Tim and his songs reach out to the heart of the listener. Reflecting on his own life, he manages to tell stories, that everybody can relate to. 
His versatile guitar playing is the basis of his songwriting and ornaments his songs to a colorful mixture of musical styles.
His first record „Bird of Passage“ is out since October 2018.
