A new collection of work titled 'Sodium Light' from myself has just been released on Lee Norris's excellent NeoTantra label. The work was inspired by a series of night walks my daughter and I took towards the back end of 2019; pre all the states we find ourselves in at the moment. Breathing Guide number 2 is here for you. Offering you an audio guide to enhance your resonant breathing exercise. The music of this guide is tuned to 417Hz and the breathing cycle is in sync with this frequency. Harmony galore for raising your energy, erasing negativity, healing spirit and body, and stimulating brain-heart cohesion. 

🌴 How to use Tiki's Breathing Guide.

The audio/video will start with a 1 minute intro. Then the practice starts. The sound of a low drum will dictate the breathing cycle. You can watch the video at first for guidance. But you should be able to use this guide with your eyes closed for deeper meditation.

Just like practicing meditation, sit or lay down in a comfortable manner. Make sure your spine is straight without too much effort, and your torso is in optimal position to utilise your lungs from belly to chest. 
When we breath in, we want to use our abdominal muscle to get oxygen all the way into the lower parts of our lungs. And then steadily fill our lungs from belly height up to our chest. No need to force it or attempt to inhale extra deep. Stay relaxed, but keep your focus on your breathing. The inhale should be done through the nose.
When we breath out, we simply want to relax all the muscles that help us breath and  let the air flow out. Exhaling can be done through the nose as well. Some practicioners prefer to breathe out through the mouth with pursed lips. Which is fine.


🌴 What's the Synchronised part of this Resonant Frequency Breathing Exercise?

Yes, there is more to this breathing guide than just breathing your guide. Wait! I mean, guiding your breathing. Everything in this universe, including the universe itself, has a frequency. Everything in its essence is energy and vibrates. And when coherent frequencies meet, they harmonise. 

You may have heard about ‘solfeggio frequencies’. A solfeggio is a frequency that has various health benefits ascribed to it. The problem with our modern tuning system (e.g. the piano) is that almost all solfeggio frequencies are not available to us on a piano, which is tuned to A=440Hz. In order to create music that is tuned to a solfeggio frequency, we need to tune the used instrument (e.g. piano) to this frequency. So that all notes played on this instrument are in harmony with the chosen solfeggio. 

With that very brief summary of solfeggio’s, we come to the ’Synchronised Breathing’ of this audio track. You see, everything has a frequency, and every frequency has a cycle, a pulse. And if you count these cycles in a timeframe of a minute, you get the cycles per minute a.k.a. beats per minute. When we know the frequency of the solfeggio, we can determine the cycle/beats per minute. When we know the cycle/beats per minute, we can determine a breathing cycle that is in harmony with this frequency. 
And that is exactly what this breathing guide offers you. It’s not just a steady tempo to which you can practice your RFB. It also allows you to breathe in synchronicity with the solfeggio the breathing guide is tuned to. All in all, one big feast of harmony that surely in one way or another will benefit the wellbeing of your mind and body.

Kraut Sounds is sort alias for an artist that followers of Whitelabrecs will recognise; South Germany’s Polaroid Notes. This project is reserved for more electronic, purer ambient explorations having been initiated in 2012. Previous releases have featured on Büro für Erdrotation, Stellar Transitions, Diametral and Drone Works International.

This digital-only edition is a debut under this name, for Whitelabrecs and clocks in at just over 35 minutes of audio. Silence is a peaceful journey through quiet and meditative soundscapes, based on personal studies about sleep, subconsciousness and higher awareness, in combination with a deep interest in old electronic sounds from the past century.
It is an attempt to play less, in order to gain more. Like minimal music with repeating and shifting multi-layered soundscapes. Like slow motion sound painting, with a curious view of how things evolve naturally.

All five tracks are based on improvisations, following no specific rules or schemes. Everything flows in way that works uniquely for you, as you drift along in sound and time.
