Ramona Rose is a twenty five year old Ameicana musician based in Leeds. 
Having grown up in the Oxfordshire countryside immersed in the timeless sounds of The Beatles, Carly Simon, The Bee Gees and ABBA, her formative years were spent teaching herself to play her tiny battered guitar and scribbling song lyrics in the back of her school books. Her songs became her diary, a way to express the inner workings of her heart and mind in the hope that others could relate. 

Fast-forward a decade, Ramona Rose is a name that has begun weaving it’s way into the tapestry of the local Leeds music scene and beyond. With her mesmerising vocals and heart-warming blend of classic Pop, Folk and Country influences, her lyrics are still that of an ordinary girl scribbling her thoughts in a diary, carrying a universal message of honesty, truth, and kindness to oneself that resonates with so many. 

Having graduated from Leeds Conservatoire in 2016 after studying under some of the UK’s leading creatives, so far her journey has been one mostly spent on stage. In 2017, she embarked upon her first self-funded and totally independent UK tour, a theme that would follow her throughout the years as she began to fall in love with travel and live performance. The coming years would see her perform in more than twenty cities across the country, appear on bills below the likes of KT Tunstall, The Shires, and Newton Faulkner, perform intimate packed out shows for Sofar Sounds in multiple locations, and receive support from BBC Radio Oxford, BBC Radio Leeds, Amazing Radio, The Unsigned Guide, and many many more. 

In 2021, she is planning to release more new music than ever before, having recorded music for the first time in a completely homemade way. Following her most recent single ‘Hope’, her upcoming project is a true reflection of her songwriting and storytelling prowess, arriving in February 2021.

Fell in love with music from a very early age where I began to listen to a wide range of artists. Soon realised that making music would be something I would very much like to be involved with. Was given a keyboard at a young age and soon started to play music by ear but I have been recording music since 1997 and producing since 2002. Started by using the old reel to reel 8 track then moved onto a PC with Reason. I upgraded to using Cubase SX to learn a more professional way of recording and now I use an I-Mac, Pro Logic and an M-Box 2 Pro sound card. I also use various hard and soft synths, Tannoy Active Reveal monitors and a Yamaha AW4416 digital mixer for that real rich sound with plenty of depth. I was involved in writing and producing hip hop tracks for 3 years with the band 'The Middlemen' in which I produced the album 'All About Nothing' and put on various live shows, but i've always been a fan of producing hard electro beats which is the direction i'm leaning towards in recent timesbut will never stop producing hip hop. I do what I do because I have a complete love for music and nothing will ever change that, so to be given the talent to make music will always be a privilege no matter what level I get to.

One of the fastest rising house/tech-house DJs in the Adriatic region holds a residency at leading Slovenian club Cirkus, Ljubljana. He performs regularly at the up to 30.000 capacity events such as Schengenfest, Škisova Tržnica, Ritem mladosti and DiscoNautica. In summer 2013 Manuel Dark held residency in Kalypso club at the infamous Zrće beach on the Isle of Pag. He already made first steps in the international area performing at various venues in Spain, Greece, Slovakia and Croatia and is now breaking through also as a producer with his house anthem ˝La Musica˝. At 2013 he release his EP at TeddyBear Records with two groovy tracks: It Is What It Is and Funky Beat (feat. erXon). In february this year the track ˝La Musica˝ has been released on Sume Music Records. The most recent success was of course winning the Slovenian Burn Residency 2014 competition, which is the biggest DJ competition in the world. It takes him at the beginning of summer 2014 to the beautiful Isle of Ibiza where he was alongside the biggest names of this industry like PETE TONG, CARL COX, JOHN DIGWEED and many more. He had the opportunity to perform in the most renowned clubs in Ibiza. Not bad for a 28-years old guy who is a master of all-nighters as well as a trustworthy warm up DJ.

Although he is still a very fresh name on the regional scene Manuel has his own share of experience when it comes to making people dance. His now almost a decade long career has started as with many of his peers: “I was some 14 years old when I entered the club for the first time with some friends and it was a love on the first sight. I was fascinated about the music, ecstatic people on the dance floor and a deejay who made them move. After the first experience I’ve spent most of the weekends in that club, listening to the music, watching the scenery and enjoying the vibe and at some point I realized I really wanted to become a DJ,” remembers Manuel.

He booked a DJ course, learned the technique and subsequently won the competition mentors held as a conclusion of their class. “That was just the thing I needed – the prize for a winner was a series of gigs at various local venues.” So he started playing field and in a couple of years he secured his first weekly residency. “Every DJ should do that, at least for a while, as that’s the best way to learn the trade. Once you are responsible for a program for the entire night throughout the whole season, if the club is packed or empty, you quickly learn to program the night and to communicate with the people on the dance floor - or you crash and burn for good.”

Holding a residency in a major club Manuel Dark became attractive for the promoters of big outdoor and indoor events who wanted benefit from his increasing fan base. So it’s not surprise he also became a regular performer at the up to 30.000 capacity mainstream events such as cross-border festival Schengenfest, Ritem mladosti, Dance Republic, DiscoNautica and the major Slovenian student festival Škisova Tržnica.

The competence to play quality all-nighters for different crowds as well as warm-up sets for guest DJs, including top international artists, assured Manuel a wild card invitation to a DJ booth at the leading Slovenian club Cirkus. In addition to monthly residency the new associates supported young Mr. Dark by commissioning the winter edition of their promo CD as well as using his tune "La Musica" in their TV advert.

Music production is the one aspect of his career to which Manuel now pays the most attention. He's working under the wing of studio jock Erik Margan (releases on labels such as Kontor, he participated in the Eurosong competition). Currently he promotes three tracks: "It Is What It Is" "Funky Beat (feat. erXon)" and "La Musica" the latest being a great reflection of his energetic house & tech-house sound, built on strong vocals, funk and Latin influences. And, combined with his warm personality, that's just what makes him one of the hottest newcomers on the regional scene.

I fell in love with synthesizers when I was a kid and started making music in 1995 with a Roland XP-50 Workstation.  Since then, I have had various Korg, Roland, and Alesis synths and still own a few sound modules (Korg NS5R, Roland SC-D70).    I have two kids; Elise born November 9, 2016 and David born April 5, 2019.  

I make music in my basement, where I set up a music production studio and computer.  I am the author of the GM/GS/GM2/XG soundfont, OmegaGMGS2.

Composer of instrumental music ( acoustic and electric guitar, piano, synthesizers ) with influences Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream , Klaus Schulze, Tomita, Genesis,Pink Floyd, etc...). After buying different keyboards since past 10 years huge progress in Softwares to make music and VSTI allowed me to manage better my sounds, recording, mixing and mastering. I compose now using guitars (Takamine ectroacoustic, 12 strings Ibanez acoustic, Fender Stratocaster) a powerful semipro sound card , a Dynamic midi keyboard and other keyboards (Korg Kronos2, Korg Microstation, Mininova Novation ,Yamaha PSR433 , Vocoder ), a powerful  computer and Cakewalk Sonar X3 as framework and Magixaudio cleanic for the mastering.
I composed up now more than 600 Newage, Ambient and cosmic musics that I decided to start sharing on the web end of year 2006 creating my first blog. After many positive responses and nice comments from different places in the world about my music ( including 15 millions listening and 2 millions free downloads and more than 500 videos using my musics as soundtrack ) I decided to select my best compositions and published them inside 40 albums on my Jamendo site.

I started playing with trackers, which are a type of music production software, as a teenager around 1995, and invested considerable time into my music until age 18.
Afterwards, for a too many years the hobby was neglected and I almost completely quit.
Around age 31, after completing my BSc in Computer Science I decided to go back into music production, did some self education and finally went to BPM college to learn EDM Mix & Mastering from one of the greatest artists in the Trance genre, Rami Shapira (Chakra). And after I finished I built my first real home studio.
I have produced mostly Goa and Psychedelic Trance tracks, and sometimes other styles.
I draw inspiration from the great artists of the 90's and early 2000's, to mention a few: Astral Projection, Cosmosis, Man With No Name, Oforia, X-Dream, Transwave and many many others.
As a software developer, I have even built my own software synthesizer in the past.

'One for One' showcases the talents and rhymes of LTL Gzeus alongside the incredible vocals of future-soul rising star Ngaiire, in a song about self realisation, self-discovery, and coming to terms with a new world that is not what you expected. It’s a mark of that time in your life when everything is still new and curiosity has its first real go at you. The life you learn is not the life you know. One for the money, one for the lovin' - One for One.
