SEAL Team 6 is a tribute band honoring the soldiers who rid the world of Bin Laden in the now famous mission known as "Geronemo." . Some tribute bands emulate or give tribute to bands like Led Zepplin, Hendrix, AC/DC, the list goes on. So we thought that SEAL Team 6 a/k/a DEVGRU a/k/a "Monkey Heads" who became national heroes, is certainly deserving of their own tribute band. As we become better funded - that is, if the concept and our music appeals commercially - the plan is to create a trust fund for the college education of ST 6 soldiers or their children. Some people may object to this use of national heroes even though we honor them with this band and the music we publish. They are entitled to their opinion as we are entitled to proceed with our plan under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. If they think this is irreverant or in poor taste, then they don't buy our CDs or attend our shows. The secret of our true intentions is inscribed in Latin in our trademark logo. Translations of Latin phrases to english or any other language is easy. So we need not explain what it means here. We'll keep it a low key secret for anyone who is interested enough to solve the mystery on thier own.

Our style of music is Alternative Rock, including the sub-genres of metal, ska and a few flowery ballads thrown in for diversity. Of course we write our own music but also experiment with "Mashups" of music composed by other people with our own original concepts.  We believe it is withn our rights under federal coyright law, specifically "Fair Use" to create mashups.  When ever possible, our policy is to contact the rightsholders of any music we use in Mashups and request their permission, much the same way as Wierd Al Yankowitz. But we do so while reserving our rights to proceed without permission if that is our decision.  It is professional courtesy at a minimum. The majority of our songs will be music that we've written and published in their entirety.

At the present time we are seeking agents or anyone who likes our music, or thinks, as we do, that there is a market for it. Whether we actually sell our music or not, is not our primary focus.  The members of ST 6 have day gigs or other means of supporting ourselves.  We do this primarily from the heart and our love of creating and performing music. But if we could enable ourselves to retire early from our day gigs so that we can do this full, time, well? Life long dreams will come true. Hence, we intend to shop for labels that might be interested in publishing our music. If any of you who read this can help us in this endeavor, by all means contact us and lets talk.

A mind Beautifuly disturbed, perfectly broken, ingeniously corrupted creating music that takes you on trip in your deepest darkest corners leaving you aware of your black side, your weak side. Nevertheless, with the dark there is other original work. From uplifiting, hardcore, progressive, dirty electro to chillout. Tracks and productions diverse as night and day. Each triggered by completely different events and factors but share one common denominator, they are all powerful. Perhaps the most fascinating part would be the fact that all these extensivly powerful productions are home-made. Produced by someone who self trained himself to achieve a sound quality that usually comes costly. Hinting to those so busy buying the big toys and wasting time pimping their rides instead of learning to drive. But let me move a little bit from the production and technical facts of music to explain to you further why this person deserves your attention and valuable time wasted.

[BACKGROUND]



Andiswa Kunene, also known as 3Gee is a talented passionate vocalist, rapper and overall musician. He was born and bred in a small town called Piet Retief situated in Mpumalanga, South Africa. He started singing at the tender age of 5 years, but only came to realize his talent after he lost his mother when he was only 9 years old in 2004. 3Gee currently resides in Germiston, Johannesburg. Where he is tirelessly working on becoming South Africa’s best in music.

“From day one Chris Brown was 3Gee’s inspiration. He was motivated by the paints he put through to color his art. The dedication, the voice he has is beyond ones imagination. He expresses so much courage and emotion to make his music glow. With all the hard work he has put in, Breezy has always been his inspiration!”

He began his recording career in 2011, then went on to pursue music competitions such as SA’s Got Talent in 2011, SA Idols in 2014 and Clash of the Choirs in an attempt to further his career. All of which have added to his experience in the industry.

Shared a stage with the likes of A-Reece, Kid X, Ma E, Rouge, Major League, Black Motion, Fifi Cooper, Shane Eagle, Maraza, Banger boys, Dj Vigilante, Maggz and Thami Shobede.



According to 3Gee it was an amazing experience to have such an opportunity to share a stage with some of the major local artists.

“My goal in music is to be seen as an amazingly Talented Musician worldwide, one that will build a legacy in music and create an unforgettable history.” 3Gee aspires to work with the likes of Moneoa and Reason, he states that, “Moneoa is unique, her voice is strong, beautiful and filled with emotion every time she sings which is a good quality for any musician to have, especially a vocalists.” He exclaims, “Reason is genuine and incredible, he knows how to tell a musical story and add emotion to it. One could listen to his rap on a regular basis because he gives you a glimpse of the bigger and brighter picture of life through his music.

Gripping vocals, searing guitar lines, and deep drum and bass foundations define the sound that HISTORY for SALE present on this debut EP length self titled effort. Taking the torch passed by bands such as TONIC, Dishwalla, and The Mayfield Four we strive for dynamics that grab the listener, forcing one to take notice. 

There are no “delusions of grandeur” with this group. All members have been recorded, have toured, and all have belonged. The difference this time around is that the chemistry runs deep and true. There will be no taking over the world, no selling 1,000,000 records, no fallacy of something we are not. We know our place in line at the buffet and we hope while waiting for your turn to feast, one of our tunes pops into your head... 

We are a group of 4 individuals coming together for a common goal and resolution. We only wish to properly assemble, document, explain and display our vast influences in a new sound. Our pasts are forged from experiences and endeavors that make us who we are now. From these experiences we are hoping to shape and guide our future together as a band...as a voice...

Тhe ensemble known as Soncekliosh (Kiev) share some common features; both outfits are built upon the appeal of large, semi-improvised singalongs from the jazz canon. To that happy-go-lucky foundation they add a muddle of related genres, all the way from ska to South American tangos or Slavic folk songs. Fun on stage is deliberately, if not stubbornly cultivated, for reasons we will explain.Soncekliosh (aka Сонцекльош in Ukrainian or Солнцеклёш in Russian), the band is composed of residents of both Kiev Underwriting this inclusive attitude towards music fashion and half-forgotten traditions is a "real sense of Ukrainian kitsch." In order, however, to assure that any such kitschiness not run the risk of offending an audience, the band members claim that they've gathered their material on actual expeditions to actual villages. Songs written in the Ukrainian sunshine are brought back to the world of neon lights - and subjected to a liberal, double helping of both affection and irony.. In their own words, the members hope "to play joyful, even inspired songs in a 'retro-reggae' format, borrowing from all kinds of styles and nations." As we said.

Bringing those mawkish songs back to life in Kiev, together with their numerous colleagues, are vocalists Mariia Kudriavtseva and Olena Grozov'ska, shown in our faux-retro snapshots.

Traveling far from the big city in search of long-lasting sentimentality, these artists have cataloged the songs of "simple folk" who've long dreamed of visiting those same cities. These, in other words, are naive tales of yearning, written in Surzhyk, which is a provincial muddle of Russian and Ukrainian, found in those areas where two cultures and languages overlap. 

The members of Soncekliosh insist upon preserving the unfashionable oddities of Surzhyk "with much love." Put differently, they show no condescension towards to normal citizens in normal places. 

Provincial listeners, free of big-city snobbery and dismissive of fashion, have no problem drawing upon incompatible periods for their record collections. This is the same muddle that informs the Soncekliosh playlists of "1930s' retro, Ukrainian folk songs, Moldavian and Romanian elements, klezmer traditions, Balkan and Spanish motifs... all of which is added to jazz, reggae, Latin, and other styles." This list grows with every mention.

Do you really care? Are you actually reading this right now? We'd love for our music to speak for itself but for some reason we need to explain our passion for music, the troubles we've overcome to get where we are, and what connections, affiliations, or accreditations we've collected . We wouldn't be trying to push ourselves to perform for those who enjoy original music and continue to polish our craft if we didn't have what we thought it takes to "make it" in the music world. We take pride in our music, from writing to performing. Our many emotions are poured into our songs and performance, as we are a group of individuals who appeal the the common man and the within us all. As we try not to take life too seriously (what's the point?), we take our music and performances very seriously. Founded in 2012, we have already found small successes and have been recently commissioned to release 4 tracks for Atlanta film festival’s 2012 winning director’s next feature film. We look forward to having the opportunity to play anywhere and anytime and really, really hope to quit our jobs in the process!!!

-recently beat Mario Bros in under 6 minutes/wears 3D glasses to see the world in 3D

- loves vegas

Mike Jones, bass 
-has the most common sense in the band, not like it’s hard to do 
-is known for his magical fingers (ladies you know what I mean) 
-could win a staring contest with the devil, if he had the time 
-is kind of a big deal 
-knows how to successfully remove facial tattoos 
-can maneuver a car without any brakes

Eric Robertson, drums, spirituality guru 
-Believes the universe is made up of sensible people, even though we tell him otherwise 
-may not have his green card 
-has broken into his own car on occasion (to give people the idea that he is a thug/for the insurance) 
-has a job that really sucks, no really, it sucks 
-wants to taste/always chasing the rainbow but can never seem to find it
