Cosmic Suun Bubble Instrumental

This song expresses the passing thunderstorm from begining to end. It consists of three parts.
 
 I: Lotus pond
      Lotus flowers are out peacefully in moist air.
 II: The god of thunder and the god of wind
     The sky is gradually covered by heavy clouds. The god of thunder beats drums on his back and the god of wind blasts. They enjoy playing.
 III: The last raindrop
     The thunderstorm has gone. The last raindrop is falling and glittering in the sunshine.
 
 Thunder sounds in this track were not sampled but synthesized.

While preparing my new trip to Japan I thought of my very first time in Tokyo, 16 years ago. I decided to pick up the 8mm tape I shot at the time, got really surprised the camcorder was still working ^^ and scanned the film. 
Looking at this now old movie, a little melody began to play in my head and I decided to do something with it :=) I added sounds from the videotape on top of it.

This song has become very popular at our live performances so we decided it deserved a new recording and a new production.

Bill's note:  So have you ever wanted to go back to the past knowing what you do now? Back to the future. Well, that's what we did here. I've learned a lot about production over the last few years, Melissa has developed a seriously unique and unapologetic vocal style and ... we've purchased some better equipment as well. This song is silly but people keep requesting it... what can you do?

I'm really proud of what Melissa and Will can do and I've figured out some mix techniques that highlight their awesomeness a little more.

I was very stoked when Jinen Tronic  reached out to me for a collaboration.  It has been a pleasure to work with him, and make something happen above his energetic yet melancholy synth track.  The mixing was definitely a bit of a challenge as he would have to bounce down a version, send it to me, wait till I heard it to give opinion, then make time in his busy life to try another mix. .
