Spring is early this year

A song from a friend - did wake me up
and it surely is a sign of spring
it’s the blackbird who tries to tempt
a pretty young blackbird girl
he has chosen a tree from which he reaches the whole wide world

It is hidden among the leaves - and surrounded by snow
it is bright like the sun and it seems that
it wants to attract attention to
it’s beauty this early day of spring
I was captivated by this little gift that appeared to me

There is someone behind a tree - who said ”Hey, take a look at me”
I will show You that the winter has passed
It’s a lonely little snowdrop who called
cause she was frightened that I just are passing by
without seeing the beauty that this small flower shows to me
