This totally improvised Live Stems Mix of Gino Soccio's iconic track "Dancer" was performed during a Twitch stream on March 19, 2022 using Traktor DJ Studio and a Native Instruments D2 controller.

It has the sort of hypnotic flow that feels like a perfect fit for getting 'lost in sound' at an after-hours party in a dark room full of sweaty bodies.

On this episode, Karen is in conversation with @iklaudine Claudine Eccleston who is in her seventieth year and lives in East Sussex with her husband Ted. 

Jamaican born Claudine made history by becoming the UKs first female plumber in 1977. Claudine was brought up in South London and moved to San Francisco in 1980 where she continued working as a plumber and pipe fitter in the day and a designer, reggae newsletter publisher and DJ by night. Before she retired, Claudine was working in children's Social work in adoption and fostering. Along with her family she fostered over 40 children! Claudine is creator of Playing The Race Card, an Arts project which is in its 4th year. The next exhibition begins in early May until the end of August.

Its magnetic energy stretched across the Atlantic to New York and Washington DC, and now whispers  of its arrival in Switzerland are in the air.   

As a resident DJ at London's legendary Troy Bar, he sets the stage each week for the city's longest-running R&B open mic night, warming up the crowd with a wide range of genres. He has also warmed up for  several R&B/Soul legends including the likes of Jon B, Kem, Eric Benet, and Teedra Moses.
