We play plenty of gigs across Cardiff and are very experienced live performers despite our average age of 16. 

	
One of the best three-piece, teenage, melodica+uke+guitar, busking/gigging, acoustic/alternative/punk/ska/gypsy/pop/folk/reggae/prog/experimental bands in East Cardiff. These three youths are a unique acoustic outfit comprising of Ukulele, Melodica and Guitar. It makes a surprisingly full sound. Despite their soft, twee appearance and upbeat tones, their lyrics are often grim descriptions of the hardships faced in inner-city life or tributes to local characters. Their themes and influences show a surprising awareness of the world around them but without being boringly serious. Songs such as Helio (a ballad of a man who works in Lidl!), Locked Out (about... being locked out) and Nine O'clock - Memory Block (about not having enough change in the corner shop) are both musically refreshing and joyously delivered, with passion in the honest vocal stylings. All this honesty, uniqueness, sound and influence comes together to create Inconsiderate Parking: Cardiff's teen busking sensation.

We've supported the likes of Kids In Glass Houses and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. We've played gigs in London (Royal Albert Hall, to a crowd of 3,929) and Birmingham (02 Academy). Earlier this year we received air play on Radio one and our music was discussed in detail and highly praised by the likes of Mike Williams (deputy editor of the NME) and DJ, Jen Long. We have extensive experience of live performances in almost ANY environment. From busking, to bars and pubs. From open mic nights, to large venues and music festivals. We've certainly been around for a band who's average age is only 16.

Our song 'Locked Out (Again)' was recognised and chosen to be part of a list of 40 diverse, unique tracks from unsigned and unrecognised artists across the U.K. The aim of this ambitious Facebook campaign, known as 'Storm The Charts' was to get as many of these songs into the U.K top 40 in one week as was possible. These 40 songs were picked out of more than 600 that were put forward by adult bands. Our song was chosen by members of an expert music panel which comprised of Sofia Hagberg (who runs End Of The Road Festival), Wes White (current writer and editor of 'Attack!!!!' magazine, former Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition panelist), Steve Henwood (books the bandstand and Glasto among many other things) and countless music bloggers, journalists, DJs and label owners.

Born in 1961 in Tours (France), Michel Lelong started practising guitar at the age of 13, influenced by his older brothers; all are fond of American traditional music. First, with the help of his older brother Jean-Marc, a self taught, talented, guitar player, Michel learned different country blues in the styles of Mississippi John Hurt, John Jackson, Big Bill Broonzy, and Gary Davis etc. After these great blues and ragtime influences, Michel learned "note-by-note" by ear the traditional "Kentucky style", often called "Travis style". At 17, he started to teach guitar and, after having recorded his first LP in 1983, he was noticed by the American guitar player/musicologist/music publisher Stefan Grossman (one of the most renowned acoustic blues guitar pioneer teachers in the world). 

In the 1980/90’s, Michel released four educational books with audiotapes on three legends of Country Guitar; Merle Travis, Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins. These books are still published by the The Stefan Grossman's Guitar Worshop, USA.

During this time, Michel went several times to the United States to meet the traditional musicians to deepen his knowledge of North American music. He still composes and develops his personal style through his various influences (Blues, Ragtime, Jazz and Celtic) and performs as a solo artist in France and abroad.

Michel Lelong recorded his first C.D. in 1996 with some of the best French blues and bluegrass musicians.

The same year, Michel made his first educational video on the country/blues styles for a French music publisher (Editions Guitar Connection - Music Publishing - Paris - http://www.play-music.com/).

He followed this up in 1997 with an educational video on Celtic guitar techniques. 

In 1999, Michel produced a country blues guitar method (a book of 75 pages with CD showing ninety-nine examples and blues studies). A large range of country blues techniques is explained in detail. The music magazine critics consider this “pedagogic” book a “bible”.

Michel teaches guitar, organises guitar workshops, performs, and writes guitar methods.

A genuine music industry renaissance man, Michael Behm is a producer’s producer. Having achieved success in many diverse areas of the business he is now based between Nicaragua and Vancouver. In his diverse and extensive career, Behm has run successful live venues in Canada and the Caribbean, founded one of Canada’s most profitable sound companies and his Michael Behm Publishing has promoted concerts by such acts as Nickelback, Nazareth, Big Wreck, Trooper, Chilliwack, Kim Mitchell, The Head Pins, Harlequin, Prism and Big Sugar as well as hosted international recording artists, writers and session players in his and others studios.
Releasing a series of critically-acclaimed albums under his own name, Behm is a highly prolific writer and producer of music. His compositions range from instrumental tracks for use in film and television to songs that are being used by artists in a multitude of genres including country, hard rock, r 'n b, pop and dance which can be heard daily on outlets ranging from The Speed and The Food Networks to Discovery and MTV (UK). They have also been licensed in large numbers to MTV and Comcast (a major producer of U.S. TV shows), and his songs have been placed on many shows that include Let’s Make A Deal, American Idol, Jersey Shores, Mob Wife’s of Chicago, Teen Cribs, American Hot Rod, Married To Jonas, The Young and the Restless, Auction Kings, 16 and Pregnant. Behm tracks have received almost 300 placements in TV shows in recent years.
Michael Behm has also earned an international Youtube following with his songs receiving a phenomenal online exposure of 50 Million views.
Michael Behm was nominated for songwriter of the year by Socan and the BCCMAs.
He has co-written many songs with such legendary Nashville writers as Pamela Oland, (Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin) and Ralph Murphy. Behm's current collaborators include, Darude; Risto; Star Labs Sweden; Russian based Dimitry; Larry Wayne Clarke (they've written a song for American Idol star Scotty McCreery) and young Vancouver writer Kate Morgan. One of Michael's most fruitful creative partnerships has been with British guitar hero Steve Morris. A member of The Ian Gillan Band, Morris has written extensively with former Deep Purple singer Gillan. Over the past three years, the Morris and Behm team have created over 150 tracks for other artists and for film and television soundtracks.
Through his extensive recording background, Behm has developed a very strong sense of what makes a song great. "One thing I've learned producing is that without a compelling vocal and groove a song will never be much of anything. When a song has emotional meaning that people can connect with, that is always a good foundation. I want the songs I work on to be epic, to have emotional high water marks. I use a lot of different instruments in my productions, from full orchestra with violins and cellos through to ebo, ukulele and bongos. Using whatever instrument and sound that will best serve the song is paramount to creating music that will be remembered."
Behm is truly international in his vision. He regularly works in studios in Nashville, Los Angeles and Vancouver at Blackbird, Oceanway studios, and (Bryan Adams' The Warehouse Studios, and The Armoury (the facility started by Bruce Fairbairn), as well as his own well-equipped San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua based studio.

When Emily Baker was awarded the Arts Foundation Fellowship in Songwriting by Annie Lennox, things began to slot into place. 

A critically acclaimed debut, House of Cards, soon followed, with Emily being described as an “intense songwriting talent” by Maverick Magazine. 

Alongside touring with the likes of Amy Wadge and Jon Allen, she began to offer her ever-increasing fanbase a different kind of live experience: house concerts. She’d come over, play some songs and cook you a risotto: Baker by name, baker by nature. 

It’s with a battered old guitar in her hand, however, that she’s most enjoyable. Balancing honest, often heartbreaking, music with hilarious between-song banter, she’s gained a reputation as a truly unique live act. 
Little wonder Pete Doherty cited her as the person who inspired him to pick up the guitar. The two were reunited in 2010, with Emily opening for Pete at the Bournemouth Opera House and Hackney Empire. 

Other notable gigs have included a headline slot at London Songwriters’ Week and showcases at the International Folk Alliance Festival in Memphis, Tennessee. 

It was during this visit to Tennessee that Emily penned her latest album, All At Sea. A record of raw and rugged beauty, the result of a 4000-mile round trip of the American south. Recorded in just three days with Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant / Scott Matthews). Its nine tracks represent a high watermark in Emily’s career; All at Sea is the sound of boundless prairies and big skies. 

From the glacial beauty of Northern Lights to the homesick strum of Tennessee, you’ll hear the echoes of Carole King, Ryan Adams and K.D. Lang. These nine heartfelt songs detail love, ambition and human fragility – all told through Emily’s distinctive, soulful voice.
