Like Chicago's booming music community itself, Jason Warth's creative influence within the global dance music movement has been on the rise in recent years. First earning a reputation as one of his city's most prolific and creative graphic artists, his inventive designs have permeated nearly every corner of Chicago's dance music scene—from commercial partnerships with Vision Nightclub and the legendary SmartBar, to dozens of independent alliances, to the booming international collaboration known as The Rogue Show.

Musically, Jason draws upon an assortment of influences—from the warm, sexy colors of deep house, to the tighter, tech-inspired sounds found in Chicago's thriving underground, to the foundational, classical elements that first shaped his passion for music at a very early age.  With a foundation spanning seven years of classical piano and a relentless thirst for music, his focused approach to the craft of DJing developed naturally and quickly. Drawn towards: patient grooves, clean arrangements and efficiently-expressed musicality; a balance of intellect and instinct; the right kind of subtlety; maturity of sound without the pretension.

Passion for the music and a discerning ear make for a solid foundation as he continues to pursue and refine his creative vision, prepare for the future, and earn his place among the vast array of talent rising in the Chicago tide.

Chicago-based label Vested Recordings is home for an artfully deliberate electronic sound spectrum covering progressive, house, and techno genres, ranging from deep hour to peak hour, with the common thread being the timeless low-end prime-mover groove that proper progressive house has always championed.   In an era saturated with over-hyped music, VESTED strives to stay true to proper dance music's roots while also blazing forward into the future.
