I woke up at 5:00 to film this, it was the most beautiful sunrise and I even had a look across the sea whilst playing. Sharam has remixed Shakira’s Official FIFA World Cup song, ‘Waka Waka‘. The Grammy-winning DJ has applied his unique touch to Shakira’s original, transforming it into a dance floor anthem worthy of a World Cup winner, complete with his signature sound and African-style drums.

Shakira said, “Sharam has brought a unique spin to his interpretation of “Waka Waka”.  He has brought the song to the dancefloor. This is one of those artistic collaborations that makes perfect sense.”

The FIFA World Cup is easily the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, exceeding the Olympics which put the “Waka Waka” remixes on a world stage.  The song is already in the hands of the world’s top DJs and will be released later this month.

“Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a sports buff and the FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world. To work on the official song is a landmark achievement for me, something I’ve dreamt about doing since making music became a part of my life. I have always admired Shakira’s unique twist on pop music and when she asked me to remix Waka Waka, I didn’t hesitate,” says Sharam.

This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.

Manchmal ist einfach die Suche danach,  der Weg nach dem Magic Moment, dass das Leben so lebenswert macht.
Tief im Inneren verborgen - mit Worten nicht auszudrücken, was in den Körperzellen passiert.

Ich bin so dankbar - dass ich zum SUNDOWNER auf dem Rooftop im Jandia Robinson Club spielen durfte…
Die Sonne lachte mir mit voller angenehmer Wucht ins Gesicht. 
Es war Februar. Gefühlt Winter - zumindest in unseren Gefilden. Aber nicht auf den Kanaren.
Dann diese Zärtlichkeit des Moments….
Es fühlte sich an wie in einem Traum. Kann mir mal jemand in den Arm zwicken.(dachte ich mir)
Ist das gerade wirklich so?

Diese Energie - der Blick auf den Ozean. Der Wind. Die Freiheit. Die Menschen vor mir. 
Sitzend. Stehend. Den Moment genießend. Jeder in seinen Gedanken. In seiner Welt.
Ich wäre  am liebsten mit Anlauf einfach ins Meer gehüpft….
Und das ganze serviert mit dem Beat meiner Musik…
Dann dieses Grinsen von Menschen, die einfach die Musik inhalierten und mir ein Lächeln schenkten…

What can I say about this mix that I have poured my heart and soul into? "Your ears are safe with me". Instead of finding the latest bangers, or fitting myself into some deep desert tech that I rarely play, I decided to take this opportunity to really dive into what House Music means to me. What House Music makes me feel, and what I hope it makes you feel too. This is the type of soulful, uplifting groovy House Music that I have all the fondest memories of. House Music that reminds me of a bay front stage or poolside bar in Miami, perched on a pyramid or under a star gate in Detroit, vibes from the heartbeat of Chicago, a Sunday afternoon at Desert Hearts, or a beautiful sunrise on the Playa at Burning Man. The kind of music that inspired me to make this a lifelong mission. Many of the tracks in this mix I have had for years, some I've been playing for over a decade at this point. Others are new and fresh, but all of them fit perfectly together to create this masterpiece, an owed to House Music, my House Music Thesis. And as icing on the cake, I took full advantage of their no time limit format to close out the set with over an hour of originals. For The Love of House Music. Romanian DJ and Producer, Bross runs his activity in Bucharest, the place where, along with a bunch of friends, he created what many call a community, Deep House Bucharest.

With a groovy deep house sound that constantly moves you and a mix of percussions and feeling, you often find him in places united with nature, sharing stories and his love for music.

"The fact that I connect with people not only when I play, but also during the week or most often at parties, giving them energy and preparing them for the moment I’ll mix, helps me have moments full of euphoria and a lot of energy from the audience."

Being driven by the desire to mix and share the sound of Deep Dreaming on an ever-increasing scale, he started his musical production in 2015 with releases to labels such as All Day I Dream, Dream Culture, Crosfade Sounds, ThePurr Music and Magician On Duty. He spends much of his spare time in the studio, trying to perfect his production and sound.

Bross’ involvement in the DHB, organizing events that helped establish a community, has contributed to him finding a place in Cyclic, where he makes his residency at Deep In The Grass events. These events opened the way to other cities in the country, and also gave him the opportunity to mix alongside great artists: Sasha, Lee Burridge, Guy J, Lost Desert, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Yokoo, Death on the Balcony, Mihai Popoviciu, Cid Inc.
