This 6th season sees the birth of a new series from the back of beyond, with a collective mixture of Australian artists delivering their own chaotic symphony over the coming months. 

Outputting a mixture of industrial, EBM, italo and everything in between, Kris Baha (Power Station) debuts the series as he crafts a sonic experience from dusk till dawn from his Melbourne heartland.

Bird Of Paradise aka Jo Howard has released some brilliant music on Join Our Club & Itchy Pig Records. He is a resident for Newcastle club night Tourist, who've booked DJs like John Talabot, Tim Sweeny, Barnt, Daniel Avery, Man Power, Todd Terje and Kiwi. Jo is also one half of Cubik, who've been putting on their own parties in the North East since 2012. 

Bird Of Paradise has some big releases in the pipeline this year on Correspondant, LBL, Join Our Club and Throne Of Blood. His music has already picked up support from Red Axes, OFFT!, Man Power, Eric Duncan and Chida.

Spacecast #22 Bird Of Paradise

Although Gabriel Berlanga has done the rounds, with records & mixes out on labels such as Correspondant, Nein and Melomana, undoubtedly here his Aeromuerto EP on Beachcoma brought this to us. A wonderful homage to analogue synths and the 16 step sequenced journeys they created brought aching joy to this R$N fella. Familiar at Razzmatazz, The Loft and Moog, Barcelona loves Undo.

With his own Factor City Records label (which has featured Club Bizarre, Offset and Morgan Hammer) to look after too, we asked the salt & pepper haired Catalonian to do a mix for us. And give us a little about his favourite food and stuff.

1) Who are you?

Hi, we are Younger (Francesco) Than Me (Marcello), mainly two good friends with the same passion for electronic music and club culture.

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months? 

2017 was an important year for us, we started this project 3 years ago, and the first release was out two years ago but this year it has really taken off and it looks like Younger Than Me is on the right path.

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?

We will be more focused on studio production in the coming years and there is some big news coming with both new labels and collaborations… You want something else? Probably U.K. Label and who knows…with a Dutch one too? We will see
