This is a small and very easy klezmertune, which should show the freygish scale, which is typical for that music .

In 2000, a children's orchestra took part in the "Prix de jeuness", a European music competition.
For this I composed a story of a Brazilian street child ("Manolito")consisting of 7 pieces. The "music box" was the centerpiece of the story. Manolito, the street kid finds the music box in a garbage dump looking for food. I wanted to orchestrate it "better" again, but I'm not satisfied yet. 
Warning: this version is not suitable for children's orchestras!!

last year i decided, to orchestrate it, if i remember correctly.

I received the great honor and I am extremely grateful that the great soprano Mrs. Gabriele Weinfurter - Zwink recorded the solo of my Ave-Maria and that MyOpus (Gerhard Richter) mixed it so beautifully with the choir.
