Last week on vacation, I was talking with my (much more talented) musician friend about the things I was learning in Ableton. Being that there are so many plugins, AI helpers, looping clips, etc. out there, I said "Heck, it would be dead-simple to make an entire 'meh' quality album in a week"

So, I decided to do it. I bridged two weekends, but worked full hours on my regular job, so I think it balanced out.

On the drive home from vacation, my family and I wrote down over 40 musical genres. I then narrowed it down to 20, assigned numbers to them, and rolled two twenty sided dice. The results: Lo-Fi Chiptunes. Great excuse to buy the software synth I've been looking at for a while!

I got just over 31 minutes done, so 9 minutes shy of my goal. Still, I'm fairly happy with these songs! A lot more work could have been done, but I learned a lot.
