Really nice; a connection to Miles Davis is unavoidable for me, not as freeform as he might do but that's ok, your virtual playing is lovely and melodic.

After I got myself some pretty realistic sounding VST horn sounds, the first thing I did was go back to the original solo piano version of this tune ("Finished Diminishing [echo version]) and laid down the muted trumpet melody, which I love.  Then I figured while I was at it, I'd also add an upright bass to round out a slow jazz combo. Threw in some vinyl static for an old skool feel. This is probably one of my top 3 fave original things I've written/recorded. And of course, I'd love to hear it played live by real Jazz musicians one day.

This song had been half-finished for an age and in a spirit of new-found whimsy I have faux-finished it 😊.  I had rather a lot of fun singing the pixie backing vocals!  Written sung, made and played by Emma.

Sometimes faith is best looked at like a photographic negative; what does our heart feel when faith is lost? It is so closely allied with hope that the two are hard to distinguish when either or both are lost; but tears are often the result. For many this Christmas, a troubled world only scratches the surface of the personal trouble felt from having lost faith in a loved one, themselves, and perhaps even God.  Christmas is a call to faith, to reach out beyond oneself in the hope that there is One who can give faith, or restore faith that has been lost.  "Hope" is what we consider next...
