We're excited to welcome L.F.T. to the series. The Hamburg-based DJ and producer is well-known for his new wave, break beat, and electro tinted style which is regularly played by Helena Hauff and Alessandro Adriani among others. He's released some incredible work on labels like Return To Disorder, Tresor, Mechatronica, Eye for an Eye recordings, Osare Editions just to name a few with an album scheduled for release this year. He curates concerts at the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg and runs an experimental independent label called „Neoprimitive“. His session is an energetic electro delight, pulling inspiration from the dirty and distorted beats of The Hague with the 80's sound of San Francisco. Lock in!

Memory Clap Acid, Born out of the ashes of the late 90’s California Bay Area rave scene, the Post-Hardcore & Experimental Movement of the early 2000’s in Oakland & surrounding Northern California cities, & his current involvement in recording & engineering his friends Cold Wave & Body Music bands.
Aldo Giovanni’s Memory Clap Acid project is an amalgamation of all these endeavors & influences warped & twisted into a fucked up no nonsense & non-genre club music.
Deemed the Lemmy of Acid House by his peers & contemporaries.
Mr. Acid is in the business of fucking shit up & thrashing about on the wheels of steel or thru a Power Electronics inspired live Acid set.
Currently he has some way out there releases on his home labels Detroit’s Junted, L.A.’s The Black Lodge, Glasgow’s Clan Destine Records, & Melbourne’s Up North Records;

Puck Schot is a visual artist, writer and producer from Rotterdam. Making experiments in sound with her synths, poetry on violence and distorted drum samples as Acidic Male, she searches an expression for energies within identity. . She has a high interest in industrial sounds, amelodic hauntologies, nostalgic drums and more broken experiments. She works with RJM Vanderheyden as 'Vot'ress' as well, combining harsh noise with nature sounds and Shakespearean texts

2022 has arrived and our Signals series is back. Happy new year! The first mix of the year lands courtesy of Glasgow based DJ, Producer and Label Head, Gavelman.

Gavelman had a busy 2021. His highly reputable label, Lifeforms, seen 4 releases. Included in these 4 were 2 of his own works. A single and Public House favourite, Lady Justice, and a Dutch inspired 6 track Electro slammer, Future.

The other 2 releases came from Electro staple Ekman - a harsh and hard hitting drum machine workout - and Variant, dipping into fast paced experimental techno. 2021's output showed us how exciting and varied this label is, joining the dots between different soundscapes and genres, all the while keeping rawness and experimentalism as core elements between releases. Both Gavelman and Lifeforms have some serious output in the works for 2022.

As far as DJ'ing goes, we'll let this mix do the talking. Gavelman has described this as a 'legends mix'. An hour of artists and music he holds dear. Think Electro, The Hague and punked out drum machines. Seriously good stuff.

Hypnotic Groove Mix #390 - Gavelman

Bash man is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer. Widely regarded as a master of the turntables, he has a record collection spanning various genres, mainly focusing on the harder essence of House and Techno. 

Bash is a Resident of both RUSH in Glasgow at the Berkely suite alongside Mi$$ Co$mix and the weekly Resist parties at the Mash House in Edinburgh. A truly committed selector who shows no signs of slowing down. 

Bash man has a 12" forthcoming on Leftfield House and Techno Imprint Non Stop Rhythm. The release will see a compilation of tracks from his previous 2 EPs on the same label, finally getting the chance to be pressed onto wax. 

Enjoy this hour of killer selections by the man they call Bash. We absolutely love it.

Signals 032 arrives courtesy of Dundee newcomer, Kensho. 

Making his club debut at our last Public House party, kensho proved what he's about and then some. He more-than-impressed us with his calm and collected approach, matched with razor sharp mixing. 

This hour is a good insight to what Kensho is about as a DJ. Breaks, Acid and Electro throughout. Keep an eye on him.

For signals 033 we welcome Rotterdam-based DJ and Producer, Marienus. 

After a handful of years of DJing on both the airwaves as host of his own Operator show, No Soap Radio, and in clubs for organisations such as Pinkman, he has proven his worth within Rotterdams vibrant club scene.

Now dabbling with production, he recently released his debut track, a collaborative effort with xceptor as part of a compilation on his own crews imprint, Public Sex Regime. 

In his sets he showcases gritty, grimy electronics, blending styles sucu as industrial, ebm, wave, electro and techno with influences of hip-hop and weirdo experimental. By breaking the boundaries between the aforementioned genres the young artist has cemented a recognisable and distinctive sound.

Signals 034 is here. We're very much excited to welcome killer DJ and label-head, Naks. 

Naks is co-founder of the Vortex Traks imprint, a well-regarded Electro label which has played host to artists such as KafkaCtrl, Datawave, Mono Junk, Lazercat and more. Hs also runs the Dreams of Neon party series from the Berlin Underground. Dreams of Neon also streams on the legendary Intergalactic FM. 

After close to two decades of spinning and collecting, Naks has been spotted playing in both Berlin clubs and across Europe. Whether it's Electro, Acid, freaked-out distorted screeches or Italo Disco, Naks is your guy.
