Loveletter is a modal reflection of melted melodic shifts and inwards folded time signatures.
Shaped by an ever-fluctuating current of iterative waveform modulations, its polymetric
harmonics expand perceptual depth to the hidden spaces of resonance. As its core, the cyclical
permutations resolve into an ordered labyrinth of sound, reduced to its most fragile architecture.
With Loveletter, BORGBORG presents a work that privileges attentiveness over immediacy. It is
an album of quiet intensity — introspective, textural, relentless and methodically reduced.
Marking BORGBORG’s first solo album release, Loveletter spans across nine carefully composed
tracks. The album will be released on the label About Repetition, further situating the work within
a context that values subtle repetition, focus, and textural depth.
Features remixes by Irakli, LADA (Dasha Rush & Lars Hemmerling) and Fractal Void.

With a deep devotion to solid techno, weighty basslines, and deconstructed beats, BORGBORG
crafts a sound both relentless and introspective — stripped to the bone yet resonant with
emotional gravity. Her sets traverse the full spectrum of techno, from arpeggiated ambient
passages to rugged, high-impact rhythms built for concrete floors and low lights.
The Düsseldorf-based artist performed in a variety of venues in the NRW-area, Berlin, Amsterdam
and Tbilisi. Beyond performances and productions, BORGBORG also co-founded About
Repetition, a group of artists exploring repetition through creative collaboration across Europe.

QMAR é formado por Paula Rebellato (Rakta, Madrugada) e
Cacá Amaral (Rumbo Reverso, ex-Firefriend). O projeto une
duas trajetórias ativas na cena experimental de São Paulo
em uma colaboração que explora a canção, o improviso e as
texturas eletrônicas, equilibrando arquitetura rítmica e vocal.
Nascido de encontros pautados pela livre improvisação,
QMAR consolida uma linguagem própria fundamentada na
convergência estética e na pesquisa compartilhada de
timbres entre ambos os músicos.

O álbum de estreia, "Orações Oferecidas a Estranhos", foi
gravado e produzido pela própria dupla em seu home studio
em meados de 2025. O trabalho de pós-produção foi
finalizado no Estúdio El Rocha, com mixagem e
masterização assinadas por Fernando Sanchez. A
identidade visual do projeto conta com arte de Acauã Novais
e fotografia de Rodrigo Fonseca.

EN: QMAR is formed by Paula Rebellato (Rakta, Madrugada) and Cacá Amaral (Rumbo Reverso, ex-Firefriend). The project unites two active trajectories in the experimental scene of São Paulo in a collaboration that explores song, improvisation, and electronic textures, balancing rhythmic and vocal architecture.

Born from encounters guided by free improvisation, QMAR consolidates its own language based on aesthetic convergence and shared research of timbres between both musicians.

The debut album, "Orações Oferecidas a Estranhos" (Prayers Offered to Strangers), was recorded and produced by the duo themselves in their home studio in mid-2025. Post-production work was finalized at Estúdio El Rocha, with mixing and mastering by Fernando Sanchez. The project's visual identity features artwork by Acauã Novais and photography by Rodrigo Fonseca.

PREMIERE CDL || QMAR - Espírito Espião |Self Released| 2026

Good morning, dear friends and unexpected stumblers. Today, I am excited to share with you a track from one of my all-time favourite duos, who have been recording since 2004. I have followed Erik K Skodvin and Otto A Totland from their modest beginnings as two high-school friends releasing together and independently on what, back then, was still called "net labels" to their full-fledged artistry and near-occult status following of their collaborative albums as Deaf Center and monumental solo works. Erik has rewarded his listeners not only with his particular style of experimental darkness through works as Svarte Greiner, but also by permeating that delicious aesthetic on his own independent label, Miasmah. While Otto, of course, has been a constant companion on sombre and nostalgic nights with his gorgeous solo piano releases. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with, and their new album on Sonic Pieces is a perfect testament of how these two amazing artists continue to grow together and share their gifts with us. It's been on repeat since the imprint's owner and curator, Monique Recknagel, sent it to me, and I'm finally happy to reveal it to you.
