Written and composed by Piero Piccioni for the movie “Congo Vivo – Eruption", and directed by Giuseppe Bennati’s 1962 film, is a compelling blend of romantic orchestration and cool‑jazz accents. Set against the backdrop of the Congo revolution, the soundtrack mirrors the story’s tension and longing. A beautifully rare slice of Piccioni’s soundtrack legacy: intimate, moody, and evocatively cinematic.
