Kick/Snare is an electronic music producer and keyboard player in the sexy psychedelic indie R 'n B band Bullet Made Statues.

His first album "Headphone Sunrise" was released in July 2012.  Pulling heavily from indie, alternative, house, and dubstep, the album takes samples from over 60 songs and combines them down to eight.  The first single "Kick It!" was released in honor of Beastie Boys Adam Yauch's passing, and within a month, hit over 3,000 views on YouTube.  

Kick/Snare's second album "Stereo Noon" is scheduled to be released early 2013, and as his style and skills develop, will rely less on samples and more on original material.

Bullet Made Statues's name is a reference to the martyrdom of iconic leaders of social movements, and together they form a Psychedelic-Sex-Rock sound with a deep groove, rolling like thunder underneath a symphony of spacious melodies. They are a blend of the Whitest Boy Alive, Grateful Dead, Incubus, and Jamiroquai.

They have blown the door wide open in Ventura County and the Northern Los Angeles are with every show they've played, having well over 100 attendees per show; an admirable feat for a band that hasn't yet released an album. Their show has been described as like dancing on a volcano that's about to erupt!

Bullet Made Statues is set to release their first EP "Autumn" in December 2012, the first of four EPs with a weather theme: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. In keeping with the DIY ethos of rock and roll, the EPs are recorded by the band themselves in their studio Ponderosa Records. They are produced by US producer Tristan Hendy and UK producer Andrew Helps (Stone Beard), mastered at BA1 Records in England.  The single "Okay Man" is set to be released on Daddy Longlegs Records in the UK for BBC radioplay later this year.  The band has already had multiple interviews in both the US and UK; radiostation Somer Valley FM 97.5, and music blog Ellenwood Popmusic, for example.  

"Winter" was released in September 2013.  This series of EP's are a stepping stone to a full length album to be recorded with 15-Grammy winning Producer Legend Ron Saint Germain, who has played a pivotal role in the band's creation and development.  The album will also be mastered by multi-Grammy winning Mastering Legend Joe Gastwirt.
