The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Firm Ascaridida had in 2019 the smart idea to have one of his laboratories in the Republic of Nicha to leak a virus in order to enhance his pharmaceutical businesses with new vaccines. Not only did it generate billions of dollars of new revenue but it also killed millions of people. The smart idea just backfired at him. Indeed, all his board of director and his own family died because of this virus leak. He is now alone to run this billion dollar firm having a footprint everywhere on the world. Will he be able to get The Firm back on its evil tracks in 2022? 
We shall see.

Memories

Arbeit macht frei. Work sets you free. This is what is written with all the unimaginable sarcasm possible at the entrance of the Auschwitz concentration camps that can be visited in Poland. This site makes us remember what Hitler was capable of. About at the same era, Stalin planned and exacerbated the Holodomor in Ukraine to eliminate a Ukrainian independence movement. Some people estimate that 5 million people died during the Holodomor while 6 million people died during the Holocaust. Do we remember it? About a century later Mr.P is trying to do the same Holodomor, again, in Ukraine. Don’t we get it?

Musical Note: This score was mostly made using a trio of Spitfire Audio (SA) LABS plugin “Cello Moods”, which is the Cello marvellously played by Alice Allen and to whom I should give all the credit for the cellos emotion in this music. I also used some instruments from SA TUNDRA library as well as 2 instances of SA BBCSO.

Luc Clouseau is the proud son of the French inspector Jacques Clouseau. Having the same talent as his father for investigation, he is to police investigation what P.D.Q. Bach is to music, a total disaster. When young and since his first name is Luc, he identified himself as Luke Skywalker and he was wet dreaming about Princess Leia. Unfortunately for him, he learned in the third Star War episode that Luke and Leia were siblings. His space soldier career then ended abruptly and he decided to pursue a career in the police. At the beginning of his career he was shot in the butt and had to work in the office on a wheelchair for 12 months, which gave him the nick name of Ironside in reference to Chief Robert T. Ironside. 

Luc Clouseau was assigned to investigate about what happened at the Boneman Mansion. Hopefully he will do better than his father.

Inspector Looso is in Morocco having a very bad day while trying to resolve a murder case. 
He was desperate while he thought the following:

“I need a drink
I really need a drink
A full glass of liquid courage would be just what I need. 
A shot of fluid inspiration that would help me resolve my case. 
I know, I promised. 
I promised my wife I would stop drinking.
I promised my daughter I would stop drinking.
I promised my son I would stop drinking.
I even promised my dog, for what it's worth, to stop drinking, but I need to drink.
I’m so thirsty like never before.
I need a drink whatever it is.
I am stuck with my father’s Citroën 2CV in the middle of the desert.
Out of water asking myself if I should drink my own pee, drink the cooling fluid from the car radiator or lick my own sweat. 
Damn, this stupid car is air cooled so there's no radiator or water in it.
I really need to drink.
There's this bottle of cheap whisky that was left in the trunk of the car.
If I drink that I will be drunk in the trunk by the end of the day.
Moreover, I promised to stop drinking.
How about flaming the whisky?
That would taste better than my pee or licking my sweat and remove most of the alcohol. ”

So did Inspector Luc Looso. He survived long enough to reach the next village and continue working on his murder case.

Mr.Peter Pencil, which is well known for his blue suit and lizard pin, vanished during a business trip somewhere in Italy. His mistress Penny Pen was desperate and called the police to investigate. Young Inspector Looso was assigned to this case by his boss hoping this investigation would sharpen his skills. Looso took charge of this case as if he was one of the Raiders of the lost Pencil. Will young Inspector Looso be able to find Mr.Pencil. Let’s hope Mr.Pencil was not violently erased from the surface of the earth?

Mr. Wong is this famous Chinese virtuoso pianist that was invited at the Gaveau Hall in Paris to play Syrel’s 69th piano concerto in A-flat Minor Opus 666, also called “The Brain Miner” Concerto. The Brain Miner, Piano Concerto 13th movement falls in a crack of the piano repertoire and has a bad reputation among the pianist community. Indeed, it is considered unplayable by the Young Composers and most pianists that try to play it. Not because it is difficult, even though it requires large hands, but because of some special evil and dissonant chords that makes the pianist fall into a depression when reading the score. Usually after reading this score a pianist would start to enjoy Salieri’s music or even worst reading over and over John Cage 4’33” score believing he would learn something from it (Yes! this brutally silent masterpiece is called 4’33”). Just after the concert Mr.Wong was supposed to meet his future and lovely bride, Som Ting, at the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre for his wedding but he never showed up. Young Inspector Looso was assigned the investigation by his boss hoping that this time he would not fuck up. Som Ting Wong is waiting for Inspector Looso at the “Le Con” Restaurant near the Basilica. Will young Inspector Looso be there to meet Som Ting and will he be able to find Mr. Wong. Let’s hope Mr. Wong will not be found with A-Sharp knife stabbed in the chest?

Musical Notes: The chord progression is partially based on the “Étude de sonorités #2” by the great Canadian composer François Morel and you young pianist/composers should try to play that at more than 104 bpm before saying it’s unplayable because there are many pianist who can.

Leïla Pignon, the dazzling daughter of François Pignon and Marlène Sasseur, is a star auditor at the Ministry of Revenue, just unlike her old man, François. Now, here's where it gets juicy. Inspector Luc Looso bumped into the enchanting Leïla in a stable near the quaint village of Brouage, France. Luc, always the sneaky fox, was pretending to investigate the "mysterious disappearance" of a horse that, surprise surprise, had never actually vanished. Meanwhile, Leïla was there to dig into the finances of the stable's owner.

In a move straight out of a rom-com, Luc invited Leïla to gallop with the most stunning stallion in the stable. His plan? To seduce her and, more importantly, create one heck of a diversion. As they trotted through the countryside, Cupid went full throttle. Sparks flew, hearts raced, and it was love at first sight.

But plot twist! Looso was one of the very owners of the stable and had conveniently "forgotten" to declare his horse rental income to the Ministry of Revenue. Uh-oh. Here's hoping he can pull a rabbit out of his hat to wiggle out of this one!

Evanescent Frequency mirrors a world where decay is no longer organic but imposed, where lifespans—of objects, ideas, and even sound—are carefully engineered to be short-lived. In nature, resonance lingers, and silence comes gradually. But in an age of programmed obsolescence, disappearance is manufactured, ensuring that what was once essential is discarded before its time.

The music unfolds in this same manufactured cycle. It begins with fragments—small pulses of energy, scattered textures that gradually coalesce, gaining complexity and momentum. Harmonies expand, orchestration thickens, and layers accumulate, reflecting the illusion of permanence and progress.

At its peak, the structure begins to dissolve. But this is not destruction—it is an unraveling, an enforced stillness that overtakes what was once vibrant. The density of sound fades into weightlessness, harmonies drift apart, and resonance becomes ghostly, as if the music itself is slipping away into the unreachable. The frequencies do not end abruptly but instead dissolve into an ethereal quiet, mirroring the way things vanish from use yet never fully disappear.

Evanescent Frequency is a meditation on impermanence, on the forces that decide what is allowed to endure and what is designed to be forgotten. It asks us to listen—to what fades, to what remains, and to the silence left behind.
